Checking in was easy, very informative host. The premises was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to the beach, walk in distance from Doc Fords restaurant, and close to all shopping and other restaurants near by.

We had a great week. Just was great about reaching out to provide necessary information. Nice restaurants maybe 5 or so minutes away with a nice view as we walked to them. Comfy bed. Just what we needed for the 2 of us to go back to after fishing each day.

Location! Location! Location! This cottage is within walking distance to all the hubbub of Times Square & the beach plus all the establishments on San Carlos Island. BUT has the quiet and solitude you need when you want it. The owners were right on top of anything we needed assistance with. Awesome couple!

Amazing place, perfect location!

I loved the property and the hosts were wonderful! Very helpful and enjoyed my visit so much! Just a quick walk over the bridge to the beach. Place was freshly renovated and everything was perfect! I highly recommend it!!

The location and access to Fort Myers Beach was excellent.

I was very surprised to learn that the property was a 2 family rental. One cottage in front and a second rental behind it which shared the driveway. Caused a few problems with noise a few times. The kitchen had newer appliances but the everyday accessories (frying pans can opener etc.) needs addressed which I told the owner about and he said he would take care of it. Also the bathroom shower had mold which he said he would take care of. Overall the house was clean and the yard was well kept.

Updated cottage on a dead end street that is right near the bay and across the bridge from the beach. Owner was super friendly and quickly responded to any questions, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We just spent a week here and really enjoyed our stay. Quite neighborhood on a no-outlet street. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Short walk or bike ride to the beach. We would stay here again.

Hot and cold

It was cold and we couldn’t find any heating so we had to buy an electric heater then it was hot and the air conditioning didn’t do much to cool it

Very Nice Cottage in a Great Location!

We stayed at Life's a Beach Cottage for a month & had a great time. The location is on a quiet no-outlet street yet close to the bridge that takes you across to Times Square, Ft Myers Beach & many restaurants, shops & attractions. The cottage itself is older but is clean & in really nice condition. It had plenty of space for the two of us. The living room has plenty of seating with a nice sofa, love seat & chair and a very nice TV w/ cable. The kitchen is nicely equipped with stainless appliances & plenty of dishes & silverware. I mentioned to the owner that the cookware was in bad condition & he said he would replace it. We bought our own frying pan so it wasn’t critical to our stay but the new pots & pans will be nice. There is an additional screened room that is equipped with a dining table & chairs for meals plus a sofa & chairs but it doesn’t have AC which could be an issue in the summer. It does, however, have a ceiling fan which helps, as do all rooms in the cottage. The house also has a nice front deck with a great large gas grill plus table & chairs for outside cooking & additional eating space. The deck is fully shaded in the afternoon was a wonderful space to enjoy the great weather we had while visiting the area. We have a small dog & the street/neighborhood was great for walking him. We were very pleased & appreciative that we were able to bring him along. The owner, Alan, is very responsive to calls & texts & was very nice to deal with. We hope to stay here again in the future.
