TROUT Steps to beach. Lovely two bedroom with screened porch and pool.

This is a very nice downstairs cottage facing the beach. Great screened porch facing the water. Walk across the beach access path just twenty yards from the driveway to fish or sunbathe at the prettiest beaches in the state! Rinse off in our pool just outside. Perfect for one or two couples or a small family. Pets welcome.

Trout is certainly a bargain and a favorite of many couples who return again and again. Recently remodeled and updated (photos Feb 2026). Beach access. Lovely two bedroom w/ screened porch and pool. Beach wagon, canopy sun-shade and folding beach chairs on site for guest use. High-speed internet. Pool is shared two other units on the property: "Redfish" and "Pompano."

The property is directly across the street from the beach. Beach entry access is available near both the right and left sides of the driveway, across the street, a short distance (about 10-15 yards from the end of the driveway). Most guests like our property because of the ease of access to the beach. To get closer to the beach on this island, one must rent a beachfront/beach-side-of-road property.

The facility was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials and even extra paper towels, trash bags, etc. For it to allow pets you wouldn’t know that pets have stayed there. Brandon was an excellent host, communicated well and timely. We highly recommend this property !

What a wonderful five day getaway we had! Trout had everything we needed, and we appreciated how clean it was. The property sold a few days before our stay, and Brandon, the new owner, was great to keep up updated. This is a place we will return to in the future!
