About this property

This basic beach cottage with views is just a walk to a neighborhood beach at the end of Hiawatha Road. The exterior of the home features a large deck with views of the inlet and harbor, as well as a charcoal grill and outdoor furniture. The cottage has an updated galley kitchen, a hightop table with four chairs for dining, full bath with shower, and a living area featuring a flat screen TV. The first bedroom has a double sized bed and a door leading out to the deck, while the second bedroom features a queen sized bed. Added amenities include an Apple TV, wireless internet, and an enclosed outdoor shower. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available at additional cost upon request.

Charming beach cottage

Charming beach cottage, very short walk to the bay. Loved the landscaping and the beautiful views, and the peaceful neighborhood. Really appreciated how there were plenty of supplies like paper towels, TP, dish soap. A couple of things that weren’t clear to me when booking—first, there’s no dishwasher or laundry washer or dryer. Second, there’s really no privacy—the door to the second bedroom is a slatted closet door and none of the doors, including to the bathroom, really closes. It was fine for us—a couple traveling with small kids—but maybe not for older families or friends. Finally, I didn’t like the fact that linens are not supplied, and I didn’t like that I had to pay the property manager directly rather than paying through VRBO.
