Waterfront Cottage - fantastic unobstructed views!!

Our property - ''Just Bluffing'' - is a great cottage with a fantastic unobstructed view of Wellfleet Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. Watch the boats come and go. Stroll the quiet sandy beach. Take a fifteen-minute walk along the beach over Uncle Tim's Bridge into downtown Wellfleet for the morning paper and a cup of coffee. Enjoy any of Wellfleet’s four beautiful ocean beaches, just 2 miles away! Bring along your kayak and paddle around in our beautiful protected harbor. Main floor: informal dining for 6, living room with Flat Screen, well-equipped kitchen, 2 colorfully decorated bedrooms 1 with bunk beds and the other with a full size bed. The first floor has a full bath with beadboard walls. Second floor: A new master suite with a queen bed and a full bath overlooking the Bay and Harbor; master bedroom has a private deck with 200+ degree vistas. “Just Bluffing” has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 6 people.

Linens and towels are not provided, but can be arranged.

Great time on the water in Wellfleet!

We had such a great time at Mike’s place in Wellfleet. The location and beach were phenomenal, we enjoyed walking into town along the beach and catching sunsets directly from the place. Will definitely come back!

Nice quiet location in Wellfleet harbor. Enjoyed the sunset views and the tides coming in and out, saw some seals and my baby enjoyed collecting shells on the sand. The home itself is old and vintage for sure which I understand, but needs a deep cleaning and new coats of paint on everything which left the appearance of some areas a bit off-putting and neglected. We did have to bring our own sheets and towels which was fine but did take a lot of space in luggage so be aware of that policy- I guess it’s common in this area though you can rent them from a third party company which was an extra cost. Note that the master bedroom and other two bedrooms are on different floors which is a consideration if you have young children. There was a high chair available which was appreciated. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and had a dishwasher. The host was responsive via text.

The perfect getaway spot for our family's long weekend getaway!

This cottage is directly overlooking the water on the bluffs overlooking Wellfleet Harbor. The views from the decks and lawn are gorgeous, and a few steps down the hill a small quiet & uncrowded beach is yours to enjoy. It was the perfect location for our family of five's getaway for a long weekend. The owner, Mike, was extremely attentive and helpful which made for a very pleasant stay.

Mike was great, property exactly as described, view from master bedroom is amazing. Nice walk to town along the beach and across Uncle Tim’s bridge. Spotted a seal right out front. The tides are amazing. Wellfleet is too.

Adorable home on the beach

This is a great home, set on the beach and in a nice area. We enjoyed walking on the beach, everyone was so friendly to us. My dog, a golden had the time of his life swimming! The owner is very responsive and was a pleasure to work with. Thanks Mike!

Amazing view of the harbor

Percent vacation ! The property owner was there when we arrived to show us around , and to help us settle in ! The location was perfect for us and our dogs as there's a great walking path just off the beach . Can't wait to return. Thank you

Can't say enough about our wonderful time in Mike's Wellfleet property. The views were incredible, well stocked efficient kitchen, very comfortable beds. Loved spending time on the decks and using the outdoor shower. Fantastic location in Wellfleet close to everything. Mike was so great to communicate with and so helpful. We will be back!

Wonderful Stay!

The Wellfleet cottage was perfect in every way. Beautiful view out the back to watch the sunset. Equipped with everything we needed. Easy walk into Wellfleet along the beach. The best location for seeing the lower and outer cape. We rode our bikes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail from the house which was perfect. Close to so many wonderful hikes and trails. Easy drive to Chatham and P-town. October was the perfect time to visit. No crowds and beautiful weather. The owner Mike was so friendly and answered all our questions in a very timely manner. We would highly recommend his cabin.

Great week in Wellfleet

Perfect place for a week on the bay! The house met the needs of three adults and two kids - spent time exploring the nearby beach and kayaking. Very short drive into Wellfleet for ice cream, shopping, and checking out the playground across from Mayo beach. (Didn't try walking into Wellfleet along the beach but it looks possible.) The bunk room was very small, but kids were able to spread out in the living/dining room. Mike was so responsive! One of the best owners we have ever worked with.

Great stay in Wellfleet

Cottage is in a great location in Wellfleet -- easy to explore locations all across the outer cape. Or stay and enjoy the local beach and view across Wellfleet harbor. The cottage itself easily provided enough space for 4 adults and a toddler. We had a lot of fun hanging out in kitchen and living room area. There were two window air-conditioners in the bedrooms. We found that running both could keep the whole house comfortable. Local beach is great for kayaking and paddle boarding, though we found it not the best for swimming. Luckily its not hard to reach other excellent beaches nearby.

Amazing water views especially from the master bedroom upstairs. This part of the cape has beautiful majestic blue water and sand dune filled beaches and terrific restaurants (visit the beach comber, 5 min away!) The house was comfortable and we were able to relax and enjoy cooking in and eating on the outdoor deck. The bayside beach behind the yard is quiet and easy to get to via a path beside the house.

Perfect getaway

We reserved last minute it was a spontaneous getaway. We’ve never been to Wellfleet it is a great town. House is in a good location across from the pier lovely sunrises and sunsets. Easy check-in process and responsive hosts. Thank you Mike and Kathy!

It's a functional beachy, pet friendly property right on Wellfleet bay harbor. Great views and opportunity to watch the ebb and flow of the tide. Tons of wildlife to watch for - seals, a minke whale, herons, buzzards, kingfishers, osprey for starters. Great walk along the beach path into town. Owner super responsive (use text).

Worked well

The property overall worked well for us! Definitely a small property more well suited to a family with small kids rather than 6 adults. The location worked well for us and the property had a beautiful view. The bunk bed room is pretty small but would work for young kids.

Good location with great views

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Quiet, clean, fully equipped, with direct access to small beach & water … owner was very attentive checking in with us to see how things were. Our dog loved the private beach area, the calm water plus trails nearby. Her first time for alll of it - her tail wagged nonstop. The sunsets really were stunning!
