Northern Retreat Burt Lake's Western Shore

Enjoy all Burt Lake has to offer with this 4,000 sqft 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home. Rent or bring your own boat and cruise the entire Inland Waterway. Mooring Buoy for your boat usage. Water stays shallow for a good distance (about 30 inches deep at dock end) and is all sand perfect for little swimmers. Boat or Swim all day and finish with a great BBQ dinner on the deck and a fire to end the evening. Wake up early and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise! Water views from nearly every room in the house.
Master Suite on the main floor offers a King size bed with a desk for personal use. Views of the Lake make working from "home" a pleasure. Large attached Master Bath is spacious with double sinks, a large walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub.
Upstairs offers 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. One Bedroom has a Queen/Queen bunked and a stand alone Queen. The other bedroom offers a king sized bed. There is also a single pull out couch in the upstairs open area.
Additionally on the main floor there is a very comfortable thick plush couch located on the sunporch which folds down into a Full size bed. There is a half bath next to the kitchen.
Guests have full access to the house, minus 3 locked storage areas. Attached garage is open/accessible. Detached garage is reserved for owner use.
Guests may use the dock- but please don't touch boats/hoists/jetskis. Guest boats must use Mooring Buoy for storage, not dock.
Management company does have access to Kayaks which may be rented on a first come first serve basis.

Wonderful vacation on Burt Lake

My family enjoyed another fantastic week on Burt Lake. The property was listed accurately, was well maintained and we would definitely stay here again. Kayla was punctual on her communication and provide accurate responses. Thanks again.

Amazing property

The house was fantastic! It was as depicted in the listing and met all our expectations. The property was gorgeous inside and outside there was plush bedding, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and beautiful outdoor areas. They also left many extras that we don’t typically find in a vacation rental like various common spices, roasting sticks for s'mores and firewood. They did provide starter paper towels only so if staying a week you will need to bring some. I Iike that the owners allow people to take and leave items. That is also a plus and allowed us to utilize a few unexpected extras! I do recommend swimming in the Lake which was absolutely gorgeous. It was only a couple feet for a long way out and was sandy. It would be perfect for smaller kids/grandkids. We also rented kayaks and they were also fun. The host can connect you with a boat rental but we did not do that. The rental is only 25 minutes or so to the Mackinac island ferry and we went there several times. The outdoor and indoor spaces were amazing and this is an absolutely beautiful lake house. Everyone was more than pleased with our stay. It was better even than expected. I would not hesitate to rent again.
