Quaint 2 BR, 1 BA, cottage located on Mayo Beach. Cottage is part of the desirable Wellfleeter Condominium Complex located at the end of Mayo Beach. This quaint cottage has a kitchen-dinning area with granite counter tops, a living room with an open out couch, two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. Waterviews from the bedroom with the queen size bed. The bathroom features a granite counter top with a stand up shower. There is a stackable washer and dryer for your use in the cottage. Amenities in this rental include: Sheets, pillow's, blankets, towel's (including beach towels), flat screen tv's with DVD player's and Wireless Internet Service. There are 20 cottages located on the Wellfleeter property. There is a staircase on the Wellfleeter property which leads down to a 400 foot private beach area. Walking distance to the following is about a 10 -15 minutes: center of town, public tennis courts, community playground, local restaurants, live theatre and all of the Wellfleet Harbor's amenities. It is a 10 minute car ride to Wellfleet's fresh water ponds and spectacular ocean side beaches.
This is a non-smoking cottage, unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Perfect stay for family of four

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the cottage. It was clean, well stocked with towels and beach supplies. We were within walking distance to town and restaurants. The private beach is perfect for little kids as the bay is calmer than the big beaches. The cottage was quiet and comfortable. We had a wonderful time!

Wonderful place

Very clean and had everything we needed. Great place to stay with young children. They can safely walk around and play in an area off the road. Having the beach right there is great Will definitely stay again.

Wellfleeter Cottage

This was my third time staying at the Wellfleeter cottage. It’s a small charming cottage with close access to the beach. The kitchen and bedrooms are very well equipped and it has a lovely Cape Cod feel about it. Restaurants and art galleries are within walking distance. I look forward to a return visit.

Wonderful Wellfleet Experience

This cute and cozy cottage had everything our group of 4 adults needed for a wonderful stay in Wellfleet. It was very clean upon arrival, the owner answered our couple of questions within a day, and the location provided easy access to our favorite Wellfleet destinations - the town landing, the pier, Frying Pan gallery, Bookstore Restaurant, and Wellfleet Center with its many galleries, shops, and restaurants. We will be back again!

Great location

Our family of 3 (including 2 year old) had a great stay. The cottage is cozy, especially the primary bedroom and dining area, but the location is great just steps from the beach. There were a few cleanliness issues and minor inconveniences (e.g. no bath soap provided) but didn't have a major impact on our enjoyment. Stacey was quick to respond to questions and also was kind enough to make some date adjustments when a conflict came up with original dates.

Nice place!

This is our second time at the properties. The little cottages are great and come with everything you need. The washer and dryer are a wonderful add to this property! Check in and out are easy too. We do love it here. Yet, the place is pricey (getting too pricey IMHO), but that is expected if you want to stay close to the water. Note that Mayo Beach is great for kids as it is warm with little to no waves. But if you want to stay on a true beach with plentiful white sand and waves, this is not the place for you. We will be staying somewhere else next year as Mayo Beach is just so-so for us and we found ourselves driving to other beaches for our excursions. But this place is truly wonderful if you want a place on the water, safe and good for kiddie swimming! We made wonderful memories here and are thankful for the ability to rent such a great cottage!

I can't honestly remember how many times we have stayed with Stacey at her little house by the beach. At least 4, maybe 8 times?? It's always the same, well placed, well stocked, small but conmfortable with a host that cares about you. During covid we changed and cnacelled our plans a few times which turned out to be fine - Stacey took good care of us/ thanks

Cozy cottage by the sea

Perfect use of space

We (two adults, two kids age 9 & 11) were here only for two nights, but wish it could’ve been longer. The owners made the most of every single inch of this space. The couch and beds are very comfortable and the living space invited cozy relaxation. We enjoyed having the beach steps away. The location is ideal if you want to be close to town, which we did. This cottage was perfect for a long weekend near our favorite restaurants and walks. Best for people who are not looking to cook a lot of meals and eat as a family - kitchen is well-appointed but eating space is tight. Totally met our purposes. Will look to come back!

Great location and facilities

The only hitch was finding the key when we checked in: it was behind kitchen door, not on the table as expected. Other than that, everything was as listed. Very agreeable neighbors in other cottages were helpful. You can swim easily, watch the sunset, get quickly to bike trails, Provincetown, etc.

Piece of paradise

Great location and great times had by all! The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable. It does say they provide sheets and towels (including beach towels) but there were only 3 towels for bathing and 2 for the beach, which meant constant laundry. The only other negative was there was no hose outside for rinsing but our neighbor let us use theirs! Otherwise, it was great to have a/c in the cottage. We dodged Hurricane Henry and had absolutely beautiful weather. We easily biked to the pier for dinner/ice cream. The beach there is awesome and shark-free. Thanks for letting us share your property!

Happy days by Wellfleet bay

The cottage was spotless, charming, well stocked and just steps from Wellfleet bay. The only deficit was a lack of explanatory material, as found in all other rentals, about the cottage (TV) and the condo community, such as where to put garbage.

Wonderful week in Wellfleet

Overall our family just spent a wonder week in Wellfleet! The cottage is in a cute condo community with plenty of other families. It’s so close to Mayo beach which is calm and warm so it was perfect for our toddlers! Bonus directly across from Mayo is a wonderful new playground, skate park, basketball and tennis courts so it was paradise for the kids! Also walking distance to Mac’s for Cape fair and ice cream, the Bookstore and Pearl restaurants! The cottage was fairly small but had everything you could want! Stacey the property owner was quick to respond and our neighbors mentioned they have rented from her for years and have always also found her to be a great property host. There were a few outlets and ceiling fans that did not work but honestly that was no big deal at all. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we will look to book again be very soon!
