Classic Cape Cod charm awaits you in this sweet cottage on the water. Located directly across the street from Cape Cod Bay, its view will leave you breathless. Watch the boats sail by while enjoying your morning coffee in the living room, grill on the patio at night while taking in a magnificent sunset or take a short stroll down the street to enjoy some of Wellfleet’s most celebrated restaurants: The Pearl, The Bookstore Café, Ceraldi and Mac’s Shack. Venture just a bit further down the road and you’ll be in the center of downtown Wellfleet enjoying gallery walks and square-dancing nights on the Harbor. Outfitted with everything you need to enjoy your stay, and comfortable for up to five people. Please note as the second bedroom is a twin over full bunk bed, this room is most comfortable for children.

Fabulous Cottage

This cottage was fabulous! It was super cute and exactly the right amount of space. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the living space was great. We will definitely be looking to stay again.

Beautiful rental!

This rental was beautiful and an amazing location, so close to the water and town! Check in was easy and convenient. The only thing that we were uncertain on based on the listing was what to bring for the kitchen since cooking utensils weren’t mentioned in the listing. Our unit did not have a cutting board which we would have brought had we known.

Charming, clean, well-appointed, beach cottage!

My family (4 of us)and I rented this property earlier this summer and had an exceptional experience. The beach cottage was literally a stone's throw away from the beach with easy access. Town restaurants and nightlife were a short walk away. The outside living space (shared courtyard) was perfect for my family with a large seating area, table and grill. Inside, the unit was meticulous - clean, well appointed with pretty much everything a family needs for a beach vacation. The manager of the property was exceptionally helpful in helping us plan and set up a couple of fun day-trips and helped us out with reservations at a few of the more family friendly restaurants in the area. We had a very minor issue with a toaster that broke during the trip and a new one was delivered in far less time than I would've thought possible - really attentive management of the property. All in all it was a winner for us!

Disappointed in Property Manager

This was our 7th year staying at this cottage (16 years total in another location on Wellfleet) - first with DelMar property management taking it over and unfortunately, might be our last. From the moment we stepped into the cottage - there was a plug in air freshener and scented garbage bags. My mother has chemical sensitivities so this did not bode well. We opened all the windows that we could - we discovered there was no screen on the window in the front bedroom. When I called to inquire - I was told that he couldn't produce the screen right away. I'm sure this didn't just happen the night before so something could've been done before we rented. I was told to turn on the AC with the windows open to circulate the air. I called Duarte Downey who we rented the cottage through and they came right down with two box fans to circulate the air. I never heard back from Luke again during our entire stay. He tried to appease me by asking me if I received their gift that was supposed to have been left by the cleaning people. We did not. They did however, leave several dust bunnies and other treasures under the dressers and beds as well as dust that probably hasn't been taken care of in years in the fireplace vent! We loved the cottage and the location but we are probably not going to be renting through DelMar again anytime soon!

Cute little house in a perfect location right across from the beach. Easy to walk to the town pier, restaurants or up into the town. The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were good quality. There are space heaters to use when the gas fireplace doesn't heat up.

Do not rent this dump

Unit smelled musty mildewy and damp.Parking space did not accomodate a full size pickup truck.Coffee maker only brewed luke warm coffee..had to micro wave every cup.Mattress is master was very uncomfortable.Not enough 3 prong plugs to accommodate electrics. No curtains in unit, mini blinds broken or ill fitting in windows.A/c units were so loud you could hardly sleep.The furniture was nasty old tag sale furniture.The large burner on the stove top did not work.There was a large crack in the front door so you could see outside from inside. The front door was actually an interior door not an exterior door.The bunk room was uninhabitable. So stinky smelly of mold and mildew no matter how much heat or a/c you used in that room.Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling.

Great location in Wellfleet! Mayo Beach is steps away and we enjoyed walking to the Bookstore for dinner. Parts of the cottage are a bit dated, but otherwise the small cottage worked well.

Perfect location

We absolutely loved this quaint cottage with a beautiful view and great location. We enjoyed walking to dinner and watching a sunset on the beach. The sunrise was amazing as well! Definitely coming back.

It would have been nice to check in before 4. Fyi, thermostat does not control fireplace heater. Rain comes in through master bedroom window. Grill is propane, not charcoal as described. Clothesline would have been handy. Two garbage cans in kitchen but only one trash bin outside; no instructions for what to do with recycling or deposit containers. We were very comfortable and hope to return

Cape Getaway

The location is fantastic. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. Cottage is rustic but comfortable. Easy to access and friendly. Told them the blinds were broken in one bedroom and they offered to come out right away. Wasn’t necessary and wasn’t urgent, just more of an FYI to fix for the next guests but was nice that they offered to come fix it right away. Again the location is wonderful.

Cute little cottage across from Mayo beach. Very attentive property management company with multiple checkins and follow up. Had issue with tv and fireplace and they came that day and fixed. Would rent from Del Mar again!
