From the fully stocked, open concept kitchen and living space to the relaxing fire pit, there is plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy. The property is conveniently located near Baileys Point Campground and Boat Ramp, Port Oliver Recreation Area, Barren River State Park and a short drive to Mammoth Cave National Park! GTC Rentals LLC also has a second 2 Bedroom/ 2 Full Baths lake house located next door for those needing more space for family or friends.

Super Clean & Wonderfully Quiet

The property and furnishings are all new so it was not a surprise to find everything super clean and nice. With only one property nearby the location was wonderfully quite and peaceful as well. Christy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and helpful. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone wanting to simply get away and relax. While not physically located on the lake it was certainly nearby with Barren River Lake State Park only a short drive away. My wife and I hope to visit again soon!

Peaceful and serene ❤️

This property was so very perfect for a relaxing vacation! It is out in the country with great amenities in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. The home (YES, it felt so homey it’s not just a house) was very clean, bright and so comfortable! The lake and state park are merely minutes away. Communicating with the owner through the VRBO app was less than stellar because my VRBO account was created upon reserving this trip and this trip didn’t (and still doesn’t) show up in my account. HOWEVER, contacting the owner through the number at the property proved very successful. She responded to us pretty quickly and resolved our issue of not being able to access the property due to me not creating a vrbo account BEFORE making the reservations. We are so very impressed with the property and the responsiveness of the owners. Definitely an overall success!!
