Enjoy one of Coronado's most tranquil, relaxing cottage retreats on one of the Village's loveliest lanes. Wake up to soft light filtering through the orange tree by your window. Sit out on the balcony and sip your morning coffee while enjoying the hummingbirds and other delights.

A short walk takes you to elegant sidewalk cafés, vibrant sports bars, or family-friendly home cooking establishments. In addition to the superb professional theater group located on the island, the Lambs Players Theater, there is an excellent community theater and a newly restored movie palace.

If a quieter mood comes over you, relax in front of the gas fireplace, putter in the kitchen with a four-burner Viking stove, or throw a couple of your favorite meal items on the barbecue on the patio. Watch your favorite movie or sporting event on the large screen in the living room or on one of the Roku-enabled TVs in each bedroom.

Explore the island, go to the Concerts in the Park, or limber up and take on the stunning bayfront golf course.

At night, nothing beats the short walk over to the historic Hotel Del Coronado for a quick (or slow) nightcap on their veranda overlooking the beach.

In the morning you can reinvigorate using the multi-head shower, or soak away any sore muscles in the deep Japanese soaker tub with Jacuzzi jets.

Cozy, Convenient, Comfortable Cottage!

We loved our stay at this well-kept, well-appointed, well-located cottage in the village! Situated on a quiet street walking distance to the concerts in Spreckel’s Park and all the excellent dining spots on Orange. Close to golf course too. Light-filled with plenty of comfortable seating for all. Very well-stocked kitchen. Great little backyard with grassy area for pup, covered patio, & sweet BBQ grill. Host Brian was a pleasure to interact with. Can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful Neighborhood

We loved our stay here at the Cottage! My 16 yr old is sad to be back in AZ!! Host was very gracious. Property very clean. The yard was fabulous for my dogs as well, both kiddos loved riding their scooters on the large paved area. (we chose not to park the car inside the gate) We come to Coronado a lot. It was fabulous having dedicated, off street parking!! Thank You Brian. We hope you'll have us back!

Wonderful Cottage!

We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! Our hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, nicest people you will ever meet. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with everything needed to feel like home. It was so nice having a large yard for our dog. We were able to walk and bike to the beach, restaurants and shops. We hope to return someday! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Nice cottage with three full baths and a very pleasant living area. The host was kind enough to welcome our dogs as guests and they enjoyed the large backyard. Coronado being small placed us close to everything.

Great vibe at the cottage.

We had such a great time at the cottage in Coronado. Perfect size for our family of four--very comfortable and airy and lovely furnishings, and a secluded backyard. This home just has a nice, happy and relaxing vibe. Also such a friendly neighborhood, and bikes to ride all around the island!

THE CUTEST COTTAGE

Wow… Right behind a huge tree there is the cutest cottage ever. We loved our stay here, the charm of the house and the beauty of wonderful Coronado. It has all the amenities needed, the kitchen is fully equipped. There are plenty of towels and linens. The beds? just like heaven in a mattress! The common areas (kitchen, living room…) are very spacious and the back yard is great for BBQS, it is surrounded by vegetation, its privacy and tranquility make it perfect to spend the afternoon reading. Overall it is an adorable cottage. We loved it! The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and felt very safe, we loved to ride the bicycles everywhere, the riding was always pleasant and relaxing. It is convenient located, close to the beach, to the Orange Avenue, where all the stores are, and very close to San Diego down town. Owners are so nice and helpful, someday I hope to return to San Diego and repeat my stay in this beautiful place. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous cottage Candela.

Really comfortable

I would like to highly recommend this beautiful cottage located in Coronado Island. It is really comfortable, ideal for a couple or a family. It has a lovely back yard with a barbeque. The master room is really spacious, with two balconies and a big bathroom which has a Jacuzzi and an incredible shower with three different ways of stream water, a part from that, the best of the master room is the king bed, the most comfortable bed I ever tried. The second room has also a bathroom, it is very convenient. The kitchen and the living room are connected making the ground floor big and really bright since it has big windows in the walls that let you see the green backyard. In summary, I was delighted with our stay at this remarkably charming and lovely Coronado Cottage.

Simply Outstanding

This was our second stay at this superb property, and we can't wait to return! Its a very wonderful home, with a magnificent backyard, all the bells and whistles, and an absolutely unbeatable host! The home is two story, situated on a cozy lane, with lush green plants (which ensure exceptional privacy), covered parking, and very quiet neighbors! It is located right in the middle of all the spots you'll want to visit; a 10 minute walk to all the fun little restaurants along the beach (including the Dell), a 15 minute walk to the ferry landing, two blocks to the golf course, and four blocks to the park and library. The "dog beach" is a bit further, but our dog enjoyed the walk (with all the new things to smell) just as much as the beach! The house has a wonderful main living area, complete with all the latest appliances, a very nice laundry, and full bathroom. The furnishings are very comfortable and fresh, and there are two sets of french doors that virtually open the entire wing to the backyard's pleasant garden setting. There's a new BBQ, and a number of beach cruiser bikes to ride. Upstairs is just as nice, with a very nice master suite which is complete with a large jacuzzi! The bed is very comfortable, and again there are two sets of french doors which open to a nice balcony. If you're lucky the oranges on the tree just outside the doors will be ripe and you can enjoy some fresh juice! The second bedroom is just as nice and has its own complete bath. Great home, location and host!!! You will have absolutely no regrets!!!

AMAZING - EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED

The pictures and description don't do this place justice. It is AMAZING!! To start with, every door downstairs opens onto a private garden with a 6 foot high fence all around it. The trees and landscaping create a Zen-like tranquility. We love that everything was within a short walk; the beach, with its oddly sparkling sand and really good restaurants. We're not golfers, so we didn't do anything other than walk in the mornings by the golf course. The huge Japanese Jacuzzi bathtub was my favorite part of the whole house, and was a great way to end an active day. The place was immaculate, tastefully furnished and yet very much a comfortable, embracing cottage experience. The owners were incredibly responsive and warmly generous, loaning us their own bikes when we had friends come by and wanted to take the bicycle trip around the island.
