About this property

Fabulous 4-bedroom house on the Grand River

Bring your family and friends (sorry, no pets) to a great place with a lot of room for fun and relaxation. Sit by the river and enjoy peaceful sunrises and sunsets, lol visit one or more of the many wineries, spend the day at Geneva-On-The-Lake, drive to see covered bridges, or just hang out while you are at SPIRE. You’ll love it here!
The space
There are 4 bedrooms and two pull outs which sleeps a total of 15.

Master: Queen bed with en-suite
Sitting Room: Full- sized pull out sofa

Bedroom 3: Full sized bunk beds with twin size trundle
Bonus Room: Queen-sized pull out sofa

We have plenty of space to eat! We have a formal dining area, informal dining area and countertop seating.

Kitchen is recently remodeled with everything needed to entertain.

There’s a number of rooms available to relax in all equipped with tv access.

We also have a book loft to enjoy. Bring yours to swap out for one of ours.

Games, games and more games…. We have some for all ages and stages!

For the best part of our property, sit outside and enjoy the Grand River. Our property is less than a mile from a boat launch. Bring your kayak or head to the nearby livery to enjoy the river. Just want to stay in then sit back and enjoy our outdoor entertainment area includes outdoor seating, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is an outdoor security camera on the front porch facing the driveway with no sound. There is also one motion detector by the fireplace table facing the front door that is inactive when guests are present. Please note: this home is on a well-water system. Water is filtered and safe but may have a different taste or smell than city water. For your comfort we do have separate filtered water for drinking.
❄️Our patio is “winterized" during the cold/snowy months. Typically ranging from October-April. Access to the patio furniture may be limited and will be available in May.

The house was lovely. The back patio I think was our favorite. Spent a lot of time visiting out there in the peace and quiet. There was lots of room for all of us to visit inside and plenty of sleeping room.

A fantastic spot for a much-needed girls’ getaway!We had a group of 10 and found the house incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for lounging, dining, and spending quality time together. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had and clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities—everything from well-stocked essentials to a great selection of games. Highly recommend!

Quiet and Cozy

Perfect house for our family getaway for 3 days. Plenty of things to do with kids both inside and outside. Only a short drive to Geneva on the Lake and the patio was a great space. It overlooks the river and the fire pit was a life saver. Thank you!

Awesome!

This location was great for our team of wrestlers competing at Spire! Nothing better than coming back relaxing in the woods after a long day of competition. Spacious house for 10 college wrestlers, three coaches and a bus driver!

Great for a 30th Birthday Getaway

Just recently stayed at the Grand River Retreat for a lowkey 30th birthday weekend with my family and close friends. We had a range of 19-74 years old and everyone loved this place. It is clear that the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into making their home feel welcoming. Little touches throughout were appreciated by all. We loved the location for proximity to the Grand River and Geneva on the lake. Ferrante winery was also a great place to check out during our stay (recommended in the guidebook). Highlights of this home for us were the Blackstone grill, view of the river/peaceful outdoor seating areas, firepit, and variety of sleeping/dining areas. We hope to be back someday!
