Perfect location and generous outdoor space, plenty of room for the whole family and puppy! Tween girls loved the bunk house and the screened-in porch is a huge plus!
This cottage is a perfect place to stay! It has everything you could think of for staying on a lake - lake toys, a great dock, a sandy beach, a fire pit, places to walk, a screened porch with seating and eating areas, great views, etc. etc.! Karl is a great host. We had a fabulous week.
Very comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. Our group of three people and a dog loved this place with its screened porch and wished we had time to stay longer. Host Karl was really helpful.
This is the perfect location for a week on the lake. Private beach and dock with plenty to do: kayaks, canoe, paddle board etc. The house is very well equipped and clean. The view of the lake from the porch is serene and no better way to start your day than having morning coffee there. Note: no washer/dryer.
Very cozy lake house with a lot of amenities and comforts of home. The only thing this property is lacking is laundry facilities. The view is spectacular, waterfront, kayaks, canoe, fire pit, and even a Keurig so we could still have our Starbuck’s coffee. Karl is a wonderful host.
We had the best time here. My husband and I stayed with our 6 friends for 2 nights. We loved waking up looking at the beach. We had a small campfire by the lake! We all highly reccommend! We had the best time. The homeowner was attentive and responsive to our needs! Definitely try out this spot if your coming to Moultonborough!
This house was great, right on the water, nice sandy beach to sit in the daytime and fire at night. Beds were great, they provided towels, linens and blankets. Route 25 is not close but close enough to pick up small items. The owner was just across the street and left the door open no messing with codes. We will rent again.
We couldn’t ask for a better stay. Karl and his son were extremely welcoming and extremely attentive to every detail. The property itself was beautiful! The scene, the nature, the outdoor activities, the indoor entertainment, it was extremely incredible! We are super happy! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy my stay for a little longer! Thank you for accepting us and thank you for letting us experience such a wonderful time!
You know how those "Lake Life" wall hangings are so popular? Well, this camp is truly the perfect definition. It is very rare to find a true CAMP experience that has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need. This is not a sterile lake house, it's a real camp experience that is truly relaxing and nostalgic while also being clean and updated. The host is available at all times and so happy to have you enjoy your stay while giving you all the privacy you want on your vacation. This is a family neighborhood and incredibly quiet and friendly. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thank you.
This was the most perfect vacation. The owners have thought of everything you could need down to the littlest detail of having dog bags around the property, firewood for the campfire, bug sprays etc. Its the perfect cabin with three different outdoor zones to enjoy. We spent most of our time in the lake with the dogs and Karl was super helpful with anything we might need. Just watching the lake and the mountains, enjoying fishing off the dock and having time to unwind on the porch playing games was just what we needed to recharge. We will 100% be back. The pictures don't do it justice in how tranquil of a spot it really is.
Great location - nice and quiet yet just minutes away from anything else you may wish to do although once you get here you won’t want to leave!! Clean and well stocked with all the stuff you’ll need to cook and play! Kids took out the canoe out for a ride while we sat out on the dock enjoying a cocktail or two! Saw the loons every morning and heard them calling out to each other - that was awesome! Very comfortable beds - our twin 15 yrs olds boys loved having the bunkhouse to themselves with their own tv and fridge as it gave them their own place away from us boring adults! Really enjoyed the closed in porch with a huge grill just outside the door! Very convenient! Kids really enjoyed toasting marshmallows at the fire pit and eating samores! Nice sandy beach - lots of places and chairs all set up for you to just relax and enjoy the lake and each other! We will definitely be doing this again next year!! Karl was right there if we needed anything but since there wasn’t anything (they even had towels for the dogs to wipe them off after swimming) - we only saw Karl when we checked in and when we left! They thought of everything!! Thanks again for sharing your home with us Karl - see you next summer!!
I rented this property with my 3 children (age 11, 9, and 2) and my husband for a birthday surprise. He loves to fish and be on the water, so the kids and I sent him to the lake while we played games, read books, and spent time together. The ambiance is so cozy. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the property perfectly accommodates all ages. We happened to show up and experience severe winds the first night, and it knocked the power out. We still had a fantastic evening by lantern, playing cards. The owner was very helpful as well. We could not be a happier with our stay, and we will definitely be back!
Karl was excellent from booking, to checking in, and throughout the week. The setting is top knotch with the beach and dock. Super pet friendly, Karl has things prepared to help with the dog.
We had so much fun staying here and exploring the surrounding towns. The lake is nice for swimming with clear water and only a few lake weeds. There are so many places on the property to sit and enjoy the gorgeous lake and mountain view, the pictures do not do it justice. The cabin interior is clean but plain. The only issue we had was it was cold at night so we had to bundle up as the cabin didn’t have heat. So bring warm clothes if you come here in early June.
We enjoyed the many outdoor spaces and the firepit on the beach. Cant beat the views.

Why they chose this property
This property has been in our family for many years, but with the children grown up and myself busy with work, we haven't had the time to enjoy this beautiful property as much as we would like. We want others to be able to create and experience lasting memories from a place that is very special in many ways.
What makes this property unique
This is vintage cottage on Lake Winnipeasukee with rare views of both the water and the mountains. It is quiet but has access to all parts of the lake.
