Newer-Built Home .... Away From The Crowds, Close To The Sand! Upper Unit

Our family has spent over 30 years of vacations at Newport Beach in Balboa and we plan to continue the family tradition! We own a private residence on Peninsula Point and offer it for weekly rentals in the summer and weekly/monthly rentals in the winter.

The house was completely rebuilt in 2015 from the sand up!! It is located in a quaint, quiet, residential neighborhood, home to some of the most beautiful and expensive homes on the bay and ocean fronts in all of Newport Beach.

We stayed here for 7 nights and overall had a great experience. The location was excellent and one of our favorite parts of the stay. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extras like the bikes, beach chairs, and beach toys. The game closet was a lifesaver on a rainy day, and having three patios was a fun bonus. Covered parking was also very convenient.The kitchen was well equipped with all the appliances we needed, though the pots and pans could use a refresh. One small downside was having to make our own beds upon arrival, which was a bit unexpected. Supplies like dish pods and toilet paper was limited for our 7 night stay. It’s good to be aware that you will be responsible for purchasing additional supplies at this property. Overall, this was a comfortable and well-appointed place, and we’d definitely consider staying again thanks to the location and amenities and great communicative host!

Great property and location the only one thing is that the king bed in the master has a big indentation in it and it’s really uncomfortable to sleep.

Summer fun

This house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood steps from the bay and beach. It is so nice and comfortably decorated. This created a relaxed feeling for the entire stay. The house had every amenity we needed including bikes, beach chairs and beach towels. Also Balboa peninsula has a unique California beach town feeling that made our family reunion memorable. Thanks so much!

Our 5 adult children also live in Orange County & together our family - plus many other additional extended family members & friends - continue to enjoy spending time down at the beach.

Why they chose this property

Peninsula Point boasts multiple public access points to both the beach and the bay with a large bay beach located at Channel Road and the world-famous body surfing hot spot, 'The Wedge.' With significantly less traffic in comparison with other areas on the peninsula, a quiet neighborhood setting, and terrific access to all things water, Peninsula Point is an ideal family vacation destination for travelers who want to get away from it all!
