The Miller House offers you a relaxing getaway stay with a well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom perfect for hair and makeup and bedrooms complete with good size closets, luggage racks and comfy beds with organic cotton sheets for a dreamy night's sleep. Our 3 bedroom house is newly renovated with on demand hot water heater and central air. Perfect for business stays, family visits, girls getaway and charming town adventures! Within walking distance are a variety of restaurants, antique stores, historical attractions, parks, arts center and convenient shopping experiences including the Rear Range Lighthouse! We're just 15 minutes from the NYS Thruway, Hancock International Airport, the Lakeview Ampitheater and downtown Syracuse. Enjoy an evening around the gas firepit table in the fenced in pet friendly backyard. We are centrally nestled between several wedding/special event venues. Just a few blocks away the state docks offer free docking for travelers of the Oneida River portion of the Erie Canal/Great Loop/Triangle Loop. Oneida Shores is just a five minute drive away and Taft Bay park/beach is just under 20 minutes away with a gorgeous drive along the north shore of Oneida Lake. This lake house on Oneida is alrita!

I made last minute plans to visit my son, that lives in the Syracuse area, to see the eclipse. VRBO listings were non-existent, but I came across a new listing that seemed nice in the photos, so I thought I would take a chance. The host was very responsive and I was not disappointed when I arrived. The Miller house sleeps a family of four comfortably, and has been almost completely renovated from the inside out. It is nicely decorated with laminate floors and new carpeting, a large bathroom with a new double sink vanity and a stand-up shower in the bathroom, with mostly all the bathroom amenities you may need. Though the two smaller bedrooms are separated by a curtain door, due to having a window in the middle of the wall, it provided adequate privacy and the beds were comfortable. The large master bedroom has a new king size bed that is also very comfortable with great bedding. you will quickly feel at home as you discover the attention to details of the host. Located less than a block from the shore of Lake Oneida, and less than a mile from Rt 11, this rental is in the heart of Brewerton. Given that is is early in the season, restaurants had not yet started their outdoor seating, but I found plenty to do at the many parks that are located in the area. If you enjoy the outdoors and fishing, you will love the area.

The neighborhood is a family forward quiet area. you will be in walking distance of restaurants, all different kinds of stores, salons, an arts center that offers yoga and other classes and even the Rear Range Brewerton Lighthouse!! Brewerton is a wonderful pace to play and stay.

What makes this property unique

All aspects of the inside of The Miller House were thoughtfully created with a boho beachy vibe so you can feel an air of calmness. The house was completely remodel by my husband and I. And you'll find several upcycled furnishings that truly are one of a kind.
