About this property

Perfect location in the market/art/nightlife district! Beautifully decorated!

This is an absolutely beautiful and very comfortable apartment, located in the 7th district, which is the heart of Budapest's night and cultural life, also very near to the synagogue.
In this district you will find the famous 'ruin bars', and countless other clubs, restaurants, cafes, little specialty stores, open air markets…
It is also located within a 5 to 7 minute walk to Andrassy utca, where you will find all the major designer shops and the beautiful Opera House.
Being in the heart of the night life district, this is not the best location for light sleepers as on weekends there will be a lot of animation. However, that holds true for most of the city center.
The apartment has two bedrooms, a full bath with a shower, toilet and sink, and a separate half bath with a second toilet and sink.
The sofa-bed in the living room converts into a very comfortable double bed, so the apartment sleeps comfortably up to 6 adults.
The kitchen has all the appliances, pots and pans, plates, glasses and cutlery needed.
There is a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and a hair dryer.
Linens and towels are also provided, as are basic pantry items to get you started.
The apartment has free wi-fi and cable TV.
There is a nice little communal garden to the back of the building where it is lovely to sit and have a cigarette, read a book or relax at any time.
You will undoubtedly love this apartment!

Great spot!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Loads of local establishments to eat and drink. Building and apartment were fantastic. There was some noise in the mornings as the locals left for work but to be expected in apartment living.

Wonderful trip!

Fantastic location within easy walking distance to so many major sites, bars, & restaurants. Spacious, clean, & close to public transport. Kate was wonderful to work with, we cannot wait to return!

No air conditioning. No linens for the pillows or sofa. There was a challenging time finding the keys to the apartment and unlocking the gate before the apartment entrance. Apartment was on the street level and it was loud with the neighbors above and people on the street.

Top location!

The accommodation had everything we needed for our short trip. The location was perfect and still quite quiet. The facilities included everything you need. We did not use the kitchen. We would love to come back!

Lovely stay, beautiful apartment, very well located to famous ruin bars. Excellent communication too. Would highly recommend! Go to Szimpler Kert a block away! Amazing set of interconnecting bars!

Great Appartement

We had a wonderful Stay in Budapest. The Appartement was clean and comfortabel as shown at the pictures. And very close to the Restaurants and Bars. Everything in walking distance. Further the contact With Jaqueline and Kate was very fast and easy.

Nice place, great location

It is a very nice, spacious place. I did however misread what 1 and half bathrooms mean, no bath! So it’s basically a shower room and a tiny loo. That said the place is superbly located and Kate was great. Thanks very much

Perfect Location

This was a perfect location for me as I did almost all my traveling in Budapest by foot. It was no more than 1 hour from the sights I wanted to take in. Adequate groceries near, bus line just down the street and nicely furnaced for what I needed, a jumping off point. I never did figure out the dryer but that was fine. Having wash available was the priority. Secure location with 2 keyed locks to enter the courtyard was great and allowed me to open the door and windows at night to cool the apartment before bed as it was warm at the end of the day for me. Will recommend to friends and defiantly rebook if I return.

Excellent location, some maintenence issues

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and found the location to be convenient and safe.A few maintenence issues could be addressed such as the leaking shower which soaks the bathroom floor, a few burnt out light bulbs, and wire hanging from ceiling. These were minor, but I think the apartment could use a maintenence visit.Overall a good experience.

Retirement trip

Great apartment, enjoyed the location. Kate was great, came to the train station to help us manage the metro when we could not figure it out. Plenty of room. We would do this all over again.

Overall good

Overall we had a great stay in Budapest. Only when checking in, we were supposed to pay a late arrival fee because we arrived at 00h30. Which was not a problem for us. We took 20000 Hungarian forint at the airport. The late arrival fee was 15000HUF. When checking in, we gave the 20000HUF because we could get less at the airport. Unfortunately we didn't get any money back from Kate. The stay was very good, nice and close to the center. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent apartment and great value

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we booked and received detailed communication / instructions, to meeting the host upon arrival and enjoying the apartment for the 5 days we were in Budapest. The decoration is stunning and feels like you are in a luxury hotel suite with chandeliers / contemporary wallpaper. The location is perfect for the Ruin Bars / museums / restaurants and is about 10/15 minute walk from the Danube River. Everything that you needed for your stay was there, including some cupboard items / cutlery / plates / glasses etc. The kitchen was high quality including integrated appliances. All in all, this apartment is outstanding value for money and is a credit to its owner. I will definitely be returning to Budapest and hopefully will be able to stay here once again!

Super Appartment, beste Lage

Sind zusammen zur Formel 1 gefahren. Das Apparzment hat alles was man braucht, zwei Toiletten eine noch mit Dusche. Waschmaschine,Geschirrspüler sogar ein Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen. Also super ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt um direkt in die Innenstadt zu laufen, keine weiten Wege und viele Bars und Cafés und wenn man nicht weit gehen möchte ist genau gegenüber eine Karaokebar. Wir waren super zufrieden und Kate hat uns herzlich begrüßt und war immer erreichbar. Auf jedenfall sehr empfehlenswert für eine Reise mit Kumpels oder Freundin. Mit Familie würde ich etwas ruhigeres bevorzugen.

Great apartment, definitely coming back!

The apartment was perfectly located, clean, big, and had everything we needed. The communication in advance was great. It made me feel comfortable visiting someplace I had never been. One tiny complaint, the building is a little bit loud and there is live music across the street. Honestly, I thought it was cool and there was a ton of energy but I can see some people not loving it. Highly recommend!

L’appartement est conforme aux photos diffusées. Kate, l’assistante de Jacqueline, est très accueillante et arrangeante. Excellente qualité de literie, très propre dans l’ensemble. Petit bémol : l’appartement se situe juste en face d’un night-club, leurs clients fumeurs squattent les trottoirs et sont particulièrement bruyants.

Superb apartment, but noise is a limiting factor. Close to public transport

A beautifully decorated apartment. Unfortunately there are building operations on next door and sometimes at night there is a lot of very late night noise. The apartment. situated in the Jewish Quarter is very comfortable and close to public transport. The area is very vibey, with numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the area. The complimentary bottle of wine was greatly appreciated with a meal of homemade pasta and fresh salad. Thank You! Also the cake from our neighbour, who was so helpful, was much enjoyed.
