Our beautiful apartment benefits from its perfect position in the heart of the city. Just on the corner of the 5th District, the apartment is very cosy, elegant, tastefully decorated with all the comfort you can wish for on your holiday in Budapest. Built in 1911 in Art Nouveau style. Building inside was renovated in 2020.
It is a very bright and quiet flat!

The apartment is very quiet and bright as it is on the top floor. 3rd floor. No lift in building.
Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, Cafe are only 1-2 minutes away on Mikszáth Kálmán tér.

LOCATION:
Palace Quarter (do not mistake it with Castle District!!!) - Hungarian aristocrat families started to build palaces around the National Museum in the 19th century.
These palaces are still there some of them have been turned into block of flats.
Flat is on top (3rd) floor.
Located behind the National Museum.
Parking available in a secure deep garage 1 minutes from the apartment. Its the cheapest deep garage in Budapest

Closest metro station - 3 minutes walk - Kalvin ter (blue line)
Trams no. 47, 49 and no. 4, 6 are 2 minutes walk away.

Wonderful apartment in great location!

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay in Budapest at this wonderful apartment. The decor is charming. It was comfortable and very clean. Communication with Sophie was easy. The location was perfect. The apartment itself was very quiet and we slept wonderfully; however it is within walking distance or easy public transportation to all important sights and many nice restaurants and bars.

Beautiful apartment, very helpful hostess

My daughter and I stayed at the apartment for a week and it is beautifully decorated, kitchen and bathrooms are sleek and the location is great for getting around - very central. There was some construction work in the mornings - my understanding is that it's finishing up -- but it was largely fine, and again, loved the apartment - very spacious and nice to hang out. Thanks Sophia!

Wonderful flat...

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sophia's flat. The apartment is charming, and gave us a real sense of being in "old" Budapest. Do not be put off by the stairs (quite a few) that you need to climb to get to the apartment....it is larger than the pictures show, and everything works wonderfully. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring the city, with excellent restaurants right around the corner. Thanks so much for the stay! We celebrated Christmas there, and it was magical.

Budapest

The apt location was ideal. It was close to all attraction and the Hop On and Hop Off bus. Cafes were just around the block for your morning coffee. Kristina, the property mgr, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The apt complex is going through reconstruction so workers started at 7 am but it didn’t bother us since we are early risers. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We are a family business (not agency). I am very much into interior design, so much that this flat is being featured in Interior Magazines. I get my ideas from Scandinavian blogs and magazines. Most of the furnitures are from flea markets which is my hobby, I buy old furnitures and renovate them or sometimes just paint them myself.

Why they chose this property

Built in Art Nouveau Style in 1911, I especially love the stairway leading up to the flat. The location is amazing, its in the middle of the Palace Quarter, with Mikszath Kalman square 50 meters away.
Both the 1848 and 1956 revolution started just 2 blocks away, which gives this district a unique meaning for anyone knowing the history of Hungary.
