You can find and enjoy one of hungarian style what is more than 120 years old . This is a well built palace , original doors , windows , grids , stairs the high ceiling and by strong wooden parquets .
The biggest bedroom has a king size, twin beds with thick comfortable mattresses . As this room is 26 m2 size you can enjoy a lounge area in this room . Huge window as provide view the other palases and left side the beautiful Buda hilles , Margaret Island and Danube river all together .
ArtSu has a modern enough big well equipped kitchen with all things what you need to your comfort . Dishwasher machine , washing machine , coffee maker etc .... There is an antique dinning oval table with 4 padded chairs . Also , ArtSu has a small bedroom with window to the quiet courtyard . This is perfect for one person but we thought if there like to sleep a couple , we can also manage for request .
The bathroom enough big to enjoy all area with toilet , basin and a nice big rain walking shower or hand shower as you like . We set the bathroom with shower gel , toilet papers , hair dryer , hand soap and not the least , always enough fresh quality towels .

Location : ... Perfect ! The area is lively with many local people and gives few local restaurants with hungarian good kitchen , cafes with terraces and a typical market. This apartment will provide an unforgettable stay. The Danube river only 20 meters, the Margaret Island only 300 meters and the beautiful Parliament 5 minutes by walk . The Pozsonyi street ( 20 meters ) on the corner is very famous about restaurants , cafes , local small shop , confectionery shop , market and the Duna-corso . Jewish and artist area not famous tourist attraction really local quarter . Perfect for base place because it is in the city center . Every main attractions are walking distance . The public transport excellent , bus , metro and tram few meters and not the least the local boat station also 20 meters from the door .

My personal guided city walks talks about to see my country history through my family eyes , not juts see the beauty of the city but also search and introduce the reality , real people real problems , happiness , compare your and our freedom , economy , discuss how can be that more locals say somehow in communism was easier than today ...
All these questions which too personal to discuss in bigger group . We see on the way all monuments like Parliament , Castle hill , Shoeses , Great Market , St Stephen Basilica , Opera , Jewish quarter , old bath houses . I am felxible how many hours and what time start ..

I do also tours by train , boat to the art village , into the Danube bend , to the most romantic 1000 yo village in Hungary called Szentendre where must to have langos , turos palacsinta , kurtos kalacs and all these in a grandma garden ..

What else I also do panoramic hiking tours over Danube bend . One called Spartacus osveny , it is flat excursion with hilltop amazing villages like Pilisszentlaszlo , Visegrad , great views to the bend ending in a forrest restaurant or a late grill lunch in the sandy river beach with the best 360 panoramic views in the bend .. travel by boat , trains , local buses ...
City tour , Szentendre village or Hiking over the bend is
80 euro each person plus few euros travel tickets . Normally my tours are a daytrip .

As I was learning to cook in high school and love cooking since that I like to introduce myself and Jozsef my best friend from village to invitate you for a home made dinner with our stories , hungarian music and the spirit of entering into local peoples life ... ask for menu options ........more than a home restaurant
price is 110 euro per person . Inccludes wines , welcome palinka .

Finally like to share a last activity , to do
PRIVATE SPEED BOAT , YACHT TRIPS ON DANUBE RIVER .

This apartment is wonderfully located within walking distance of main points of interest. It's a very charming, cozy apartment with everything you need. The appartment is really nice, very clean, very quit and prudent equipped. The house and the area is more local than touristic, near by the Donau, nice Restaurants and Coffee - Shops. This apartment is in a historic building with a lot of charm. The apartment is quite possibly the cleanest place I have ever stayed! The location is great in a very safe, quiet neighborhood near public transportation. It is near good restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries. The hosts were wonderful and were happy to make great recommendations. We were lucky enough to be able to book Janos to take us on a tour to a village outside the city. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We had a great day.

Me and my partner went to budapest for just a weekend, and we were so happy with everything, there was not one thing that could have been different. From the wholehearted service to the very clean and super cosy apartment! Its in the fifth floor so its also super quiet. The location is very central, and you don't have to worry about getting around in the city! There are perfect connections in both directions. Just Perfect! We can reccommend every part about this lovely flat, perfect for two people (or 3-4). Also if u have ANY questions about what to do in the city, the owners will tell you everything you need to know. Convince yourself! :) I wish everybody, a great stay. We would totally book it again!

An Excellent Stay

The apartment was in good order and modernised, and was comfortable. We had all essentials.It is located in a very convenient part of town: shops and cafes/restaurants were nearby, and public transport was easily accessible. It has been a pleasure to meet Janos and Jozsef who are warm, welcoming, and very helpful.They provided lots of info on what to do, where to eat and how to get around. The apartment is in an amazing building and is exactly as described. Very clean. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighbourhood with shops on your doorstep. A choice of supermarkets and an excellent bakers on the corner. Good location for getting the tram. A stone’s throw from the river. It was our first visit to Budapest and it certainly won’t be the last. We would definitely return to this apartment on our next visit

We had a wonderful stay in Budapest! If you are looking for a charming, authentic flat with the warmth of Hungarian hospitality, this is the place for you! Janos and Joszef were wonderful hosts and their recommendations were superb! Off the beaten path, we appreciated being out of the tourist area but with scooters, we were only 10-15 minutes from St. Stephen’s Basilica. The parliament was a five minute walk and we were just down the street from the Danube and Margaret Island. Thank you Janos and Joszef!

This was a very comfortable, well equipped apartment in relatively quiet area. It was very well situated in walking distance of most locations of interest in Budapest, but also easy to use the excellent public transport system from here. There were several small supermarkets nearby including one with 24hour opening and a good number of very good local restaurants and bakeries. Janos and Joseph were extremely good hosts who made sure we had all the information we needed for an enjoyable four days in Budapest with many good recommendations. All highly recommended and we really hope to go back again. Thank you.

We were welcomed by our hosts, warm greetings were exchanged and a long and really interesting discussion followed, we exchanged about cultures, world views and arts for at least an hour, no use to say, you won't get tired talking in their presence !Outside of discovering each others and talking, they were really sweet and indicated us every things we should know, from tips to sightseeing recommendations ! The appartement is really well located with commodities and the danube close by, the Margit Island is also close which is a good place to relax and take some time for a picnic or even jogging !In general, this place is a top recommendation ! Our guests were easy to contact if necessary and were really invested in both making us feel welcomed and make sure our trip is as enjoyable as possible, they don't share the apartment just to make money, they want to offer an experience and it shows !This trip was really fun an enjoyable and a good trip is heavily dependent of your stay ! Perfect spot!!

Budapest was amazing, and exploring from Janos & Jozsef's apartment was ideal. They were very understanding of our later than planned arrival due to a late train, and met us there when we arrived. All was in order, and Janos was a great contact when I needed. The apartment is in a great walking neighborhood, and public transportation is impeccable in the city, and in getting to the airport when we needed. I'd definitely rent again from them!

The place to stay!

This unit is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood but with everything just minutes away by foot including the bridge to Margaret Island and the famous #2 tram. The apartment is meticulously furnished and located in a beautiful historic building. You feel that you are truly living in Budapest, not just visiting. But what makes this place shine even further, as mentioned in other reviews, are the hosts who will help you with every detail of your trip. My stay was cut short due to family matters but one of the hosts, János, gave me a personalized one day tour of the city which I will never forget. If you are lucky enough to find this place available for your visit, I would definitely take it!

Lovely Stay

The apartment is ideally situated with shops, restaurants and everything you need within a very short walk, and a 2 block walk to the Villamos. The apartment is spacious, especially for just the 2 of us. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bathroom is large. But the standout features of this place is the cleanliness of everything and Janos! Janos is so warm and welcoming! We’ve stayed at his other apartment before, and I remembered how nice and helpful he was. Had we needed assistance with anything, he was easily reachable. I would highly recommend this apartment, and we hope to stay again!

This is a lovely little apartment. It's in a great position for shops, banks, restaurants and transport but on a quiet sidestreet. Margarit Island is virtually on it's doorstep with the Parliament building just a short walk. Janos and Josef were wonderful hosts and extremely helpful in arranging airport transfers and giving us enough information to enable us to make the best of our stay. It is an old building and the lift did give me pause, but I had no intention of climbing the stairs to the fifth floor so had to use it! The second bedroom is quite small but ample for one person. Overall it was a great base for a visit to Budapest.

Where to start! This apartment is perfect. It's 3 minutes walk from a tram interchange that will take you anywhere you want to go (don't worry, you can hear NOTHING in the apartment) but don't rush to leave the area - it's safe and there are lovely coffee shops and bistros for breakfast while you make plans. The apartment itself is utterly charming, equipped with everything you need (it's spotless, the aircon is superb, the kitchen has everything you'd want). But the real selling point is the hosts Janos and Jozsef who made our stay very special from the personal welcome and recommendations from Jozsef (including temporary changes to transport over the national holiday), to the very special tour we took with Janos to get a real insight to the real Hungary through real lived experiences. Honestly, treat yourself to booking a stay and a tour, you will not regret it!!

Absolutely great place. Oversized combined bedroom with sitting area with couch very spacious. Walk-in shower with good-sized bathroom and also large kitchen fully stocked with everything. Also, there is a smaller second room with a day bed. The unit has everything for stay including extra towels and without question has undergone a remodel recently and looks very new. The area is primarily residential. Multiple restaurants and a bar are within a two-minute walk. Parliament and downtown are less than 15-minute walk. Tram station is less than 3-5 minutes away. After 10 pm the area was quiet which was nice as it still was warm two weeks ago and we kept the windows open and no noise at night I have nothing negative to say about the apartment or area. But what makes this place absolutely a 5-star facility are the OWNERS!!!. Janos and Joszef are amazing hosts. Even before we arrived, Janos had forwarded me the app to arrange for a train from Vienna to Budapest. They met us at the apartment and explained everything to see and do locally. Both are passionate about the area, being raised in Hungary, and the changes from communism to the current democracy. Janos was available for the day and provided a tour of the city. Aside from hitting all the major landmarks, he also showed us small details of the city only a local would know including taking us to the local market and trying local delicacies. If this place is available, GRAB IT!!!

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in der hervorragend ausgestatteten, sauberen Wohnung verbracht. Janos, der Vermieter, bietet private Stadtführungen an, die Einblicke gewähren, welche anderen Touristen verborgen bleiben. We absolutely loved our stay with Janos at his lovely apartment. He is by far the best host we have ever had. He goes out of his way to make sure everything you need is taken care of. I would highly recommend booking this apartment.

Dear Reader
My name is Janos and I will be your host . I like to offer a great option to see and learn Budapest daily life and see the sights .
I was born in 1975 and almost lived my all life in Budapest also I became a daily biker 20 years ago which means know every small secret corners where artist or students get together for a coffee , wine or limonade .
I would like to write just shortly about my city or village tours which can be by train or walk / public transport combination as you choose .
The city tour can be half day or full day . I never learned to guide but love my city and I was always curious about history and people and I always ask about people life so if you like to see this city through a local person eye , that is me .
Every tour I do I share my life and a small part of my soul so I happy to wait the right small group of travellers .
Keywords what you can see and hear on a city tour : sights like Parliament , walk on Chain bridge , walk around Royal Palace , Mathias church , Fishermen bastion , than Saint Stephen Basilica , Opera , Synagogue , Great Market hall , Heroes square .
Whate else : have a drink at Simpla garden ruin pub and if there is live music listen a little bit
than discuss which thermal bath the best and what you should do there to follow the local tradition , book a table in our favorite restaurant where is live music every evening and not touristy and reasonable prices (a maincourse 10 euros ) .

The village tour to Szentendre the art village can be by train or boat or these combination . This is a romantic village in Hungary with art , cafes , 300 yo houses .
Also I can show 3 beautiful places in 1 day Esztergom first capital of Hungary than Visegrad at Danube bend and Szentendre . The half day city tour , 5 hours and 110 euros . The full day is 140 Euros (min 8 hours )for 1-5 person .
