Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $300 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

I would like to begin this review by specifying the group which rented this property: 9 friends, all male, looking for a weekend getaway to reconnect after years apart in the US.I will first begin with pros of the property.First and foremost, there is an excellent degree of communication between the subsidiary of the owners' of the property and you. They communicate swiftly and informatively.Secondly, there is plenty of seating and space to hangout with each other. Between the outside grill area and the numerous chairs inside, the property is prepared for large parties, like ours.For those looking to rent this property, I believe this is where the pros end. I will split my cons section into two: cons and nitpicks. While my group had a negative experience here, most definitely some of my ill-feelings are more personal nitpicks than true negatives.ConsFirstly, the property has a mouse infestation. During our stay, numerous mouse droppings were strewn about the house; including inside both pull-out mattresses, interlaced within bed sheets, at the corners of both showers, along the inner edges of the kitchen countertops, and so forth. Nightly-after being cleaned-these droppings would replace themselves: a sign of the mice coming out and into the property each night while we slept. This is unclean and unacceptable.Within the property, there is also no complimentary soap or detergent for laundry.NitpicksKitchen cabinets have no handlesNoisy road outside

We respectfully disagree with the characterization of this stay. This home is located in a rural area where an occasional mouse may enter any property. All of our Hocking Hills vacation homes receive professional interior and exterior pest treatments every three months by ARAB Pest Control, including exterior rodent bait stations. Referring to this isolated incident as an "infestation" is inaccurate. Rather than contacting our 24-hour maintenance line, the guest waited until the following morning after sleeping in every bed to report the issue by email. Before allowing us to respond, they stated they would contact VRBO, requested a substantial refund, and implied their review would depend on the outcome. We responded immediately by replacing linens, inspecting the home, finding no droppings, and placing additional traps. No mice have since been caught, and no photos of the alleged droppings were provided. The reservation also understated the number of occupants, and required guest fees were not paid. Sleeper sofa linens are stored separately before arrival, making it impossible for them to have contained droppings before use. Our listing accurately represents the property. Although we offered reasonable compensation, the guest rejected it, demanded a larger refund, and posted a negative review shortly after stating they were "uncertain" whether they would do so. We take pride in providing clean, well-maintained homes and responding promptly to guest concerns.

What a great spot to use as a "home base" for a weekend of hiking in the Hocking Hills area! We had a group of 7 friends and everyone was impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the accomodations. Highly recommended!

Wonderful!

Really fun property. The arcade machine was a hit with my 4 boys. We were very pleased!While it did not detract from our stay, the road noise is a little loud as truckers drive by day and night, but each room is generously equipped with a sound machine. We slept like logs!

Just a beautiful spacious house

It was a beautiful spacious house, With lots of room. Jacuzzi was lovely. So close to all the amazing wildlife scenery and parks. Plus we lost a family heirloom, and the owner's. Make sure the house keepers when above and beyond. I looked for our earring so that we could get it back.
