One of the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have good AC.Shampoo plus stuff on showers need to be not breakable!!!! Plus dispenser doesn’t work good. But overall place was excellent. Beautiful and spacious. We loved it. Was perfect for our family with 10 grandkids.
Every year a group of about 12 of us stay at Broken Bow for a week. This year we stayed at Viewtopia, a beautiful gem of a mansion with a spectacular view. This is the best place we have stayed at yet!
The house is large and well laid out, with 5 private master bedrooms with spacious baths, a bunk room, and a 6th bathroom conveniently downstairs. 2 of the master bedrooms are huge, with gorgeous spacious baths. The bunk room is large and comfortable.
The house sits high on the hill with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. It has several decks and balconies, most facing towards that awesome view. A telescope is included as well!
Everything was set for us; plenty of towels for the oversized hot tub, fully stocked Keurig coffee bar, and everything in the house worked great and it was very clean. We had a minor maintenance need, and the owner responded lightning fast to resolve it. Great communication throughout with the owner.
The firepit is one of the best features. It’s a huge rock-lined pit, with lots of seating around it, including 4 swings. Very comfortable for a large group at night!
Lots of bonuses:
• Great full featured kitchen. Ice machine had plenty of ice for 12 people over 5 days.
• Plenty of games like shuffleboard, cornhole, arcade machine, air hockey, and lots more!
• Large “great room” with big screen TV and fireplace.
• Great outdoor balcony sitting area with fireplace and TV.
Very satisfied!
The hot tub never got hot- so we were unable to enjoy that amenity. No one wanted to get into a cold hot tub.2 TVs did not work The WiFi was slow and choppy very intermittentDue to the TV, not working on the patio, we could not enjoy sitting on the deck watching basketball games or any TV for that matterThe communication was poor. I never heard back from the owner. They were going to bring coffee in the morning and didn’t come until the next night. You advertise you have a coffee bar multiple times on your website very disappointing and no regular coffee only decaf was supplied. And when you advertise a full coffee bar for a big home like that I expected more than just a tiny single serving Keurig maker.Multiple lightbulbs were out throughout the house. One of the bedrooms stayed 20 hotter than the rest of the house, no matter what we did. One of your rooms was advertised as a king bed with a pullout sofa, which none of the rooms had that therefore, we were short a bed and someone had to sleep on the couch. several rooms didn’t even have fire alarms -very dangerous It was a beautiful home but very misleading from the website. In the email provided it seemed like communication would be easy & we would get a quick response. We did not experience timely communication. The 1 person that did come a whole day late wasn’t able to fix the TV not to mention wearing a shirt with profanity on it.We have been to BB the past 18yrs never once so disappointing.
Wonderful vacation for my family. Exceptional accommodations, and questions answered promptly. We are highly considering staying here again next Christmas!
