Great stay! This location was perfect for visiting my family in the area. Check in and out was easy. The place is huge, unique, and very comfortable. Two friends stayed with me one night and we all had room to lay on the couch and watch movies. We were also able to walk to the square and get food from local restaurants. The other nights I stayed alone and felt safe being on my own. The cookware is of much higher quality than the standard cookware in most VRBOs which I appreciate because I cook a lot. In short, I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in town.
Very unique apartment. Fantastic space. IMO, it is not well suited for small children or any person with physical limitations. Lots of steps. However, I would encourage anyone to try out this place. I will stay here again when back in the area.
Perfect location. We walked to coffee shops for breakfast every morning. Quiet inside even when there was a lot of activity outside. My daughter loved the privacy of the upstairs bedroom with connected bathroom. Very comfortable.
We enjoyed the space! If there was one thing that could have been better, it was the amount of dishes/silverware. If you're not planning on doing any cooking, then no problem.
My family really enjoyed this extremely unique and spacious property. We came to Newark for the weekend and had everything we needed. The property was nestled steps away from downtown. For a family or group, the owner designed this for wonderful times together and a bit of privacy when needed. It is beautiful and we will definitely consider reserving it again when we are in the area.

Thanks for staying! We’re appreciative of your favorable review. Please, next time let us know what we can do to earn that extra star. We’re always trying to improve our guest’s experience.
The apartment is the converted boiler-room of the old Newark High School. It was very nicely converted into a spacious two-bedroom apartment. Very comfortable. We only had one small issue, and our host was swift to take care of it.
