The rooms were somewhat dirty, with hairs found in various places and stains on furniture and linens. The cottage smelled strongly of mold. There were insufficient pots and forks and some of the dishes were dirty. One fork was found on the windowsill. The bathroom door does not latch properly. The heater does not work. The fan only blew cold air and we could not turn it off.

The property was in a great location. It was super walkable to most of the places that we wanted to go. The actual inside felt like a landlord. Special doors did not latch ,the paint job was poor and it had a very stuffy poor, ventilation feel that lead me to become sick .
We needed a small and fast getaway for an event I was going to and the owner was able to accommodate and help us with whatever we needed. The owner was quick to answer and communicate with us when we had questions and was overall nice. The place was small and cute, exactly what we were looking for! Bed is so comfy, the pull out bed for the sofa was easy to pull in and out, a lot of space for our clothes. Kitchen was so adorable. Finding the place overall was very easy since it was right off the freeway and was very secured since it’s gated. Perfect place to stay for a quick trip since hotels are expensive in downtown San Diego.
The cottage is cute, small, and in a nice gated area.
Overall stay was great. the location worked out as it is literally right off the freeway exit.
Parking was horrible unfortunately as there is no assigned parking here and you have to pay very high fees to park. Wish I would of known the parking situation better.
I think the property management could do more for its guests by working out the issues with parking. ie 1 block over there is overnight parking for such and such price. I ended up paying more in parking fees than I did for the overall unit because it was hard to find any reasonable parking without spending an hour driving around for the best rates.

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Terrible and unsafe! Property is located beside a homeless encampment, and is in poor condition. I had to call Expedia twice to get the instructions for how to access the property, as owner is completely checked out (they do not reply to messages). Sscondly, adding a new coat of paint is not remodeling, and the unit I stayed in did not match the pictures. The wifi doesn't work, the windows havent been updated since the house was built, so you hear EVERYTHING, the door jamb was broken so it was hard to lock the door (and you will want to as there is a homeless canpground next door). There is no lighting outside the door at night, and I fell and twisted my ankle as a result of this.
Overall just what we needed. Close to little Italy, Saturday farmers market. Petco park and Embarcadero. Thank you so much for opening your space to visitors. We recommend to all.
