Cottage #3 - Quaint, clean, comfortable cottage just 20 miles from Key West. Located on the oceanfront. Cottage offers a full kitchen, screened patio, a single bedroom with a queen bed. This cottage is only steps away from our pool. The dock and seawall are all available to our guests. A coin laundry is also available on site. Whether you come to the Florida Keys to escape the winters, or enjoy the calm waters and great fishing and diving of the summers, you will find Cudjoe Cottages to be your Home Away From Home.

Cottage show signs of wear which comes with an older building. Bathroom is tight. No exit on one side of the bed due to smaller room. Latch on entry door was broken upon arrival but was remedied the next day. Screened porch was nice for relaxing after a day touring!

The goods: Nice location. Very quiet driveway and water maybe 100 feet away. Hot water is the best i've ever experienced and the A/C is great. The not so good: The ceiling fans are super loud and sound like a can full of rocks. The tile floors are broken and the sliding door isnt very secure. Overall, i'd stay there again but would look for a better rate elsewhere before this was my first choice.

Quant little home. Kitchen has everything you’ll need. One bedroom, mattress is comfortable. We only were back each day after 8pm so didn't watch too much TV, bring your app's for more of a selection of things to watch. We had one plumbing issue, owner addressed this issue by the time we got back in the evening.Pool was clean and just behind the building. Only thing i would suggest is upgrading on furniture in living room. Couple local restaurants within 3-5 minute ride. We would stay there again, it was only a 30 minute drive to get to down town Key West.

Cute cottage in the Keys

Easy check in. Our host was quick to answer emails prior to check in. The cottage was great for my husband and myself. Quiet and cozy. The location was perfect for us due to spending more time in Key West. We enjoyed our vacation and will definitely try to book with thos host again next year.

We had a nice time at our stay. We stayed for 3 nights and it was close to key west and the docks were nice to fish off of. Place was clean and everything worked fine for us.

Nice cabin layout.

We liked layout of cabins. Plenty of trees and brush provided a sense of privacy. Nice porchfor afternoon sitting. Close to lots of restaurants/bars with good seafood.

VRBO was not cleaned when arrived with dirty linens and towels everywhere but told it was "just overlooked" but after driving 8 hours, not a pleasant start. In addition, the blinds missing were on windows, sliding glass door wouldn't lock, bed is not a queen size bed, but a full size - too small for two people, the grounds had dog poop and overall experience was horrible. Left after 2 nights. Sadly it was our anniversary and my husband is going through cancer treatment and became ill. Reached out to owner and was told we could get a credit but we are not planning on EVER coming back. I was hoping to avoid this review but no consideration from owner to reimburse us for monies expended. We stayed 2 nights out of 6. This place is a complete dump and we wasted over 1,500. Don't make the same mistake.

Thank you for staying with us! Yes, I'm very sorry the cleaning was overlooked. And my housekeeper arrived within 30 minutes to clean. My handyman also met you there and helped you with your boat, told you how to get out. You text and said your husband was having a reaction to his cancer treatment and you were leaving the property after 2 nights. And yes we offered you a credit to return another time. None of these items you mentioned in the review were mentioned to us until after you left. We would have addressed them immediately. Also, the bed is a QUEEN size bed, not a full. I knew this review was coming because you threatened us with it if we didn't give you a refund.

This little cottage was perfect for our stay. Clean and comfortable. No frills but all essentials. Property manager gave very helpful clear directions to find the cottage. Would stay again.
