Our apartment at Marbella, the most sought after building for vacation rentals offers 24/7 security and many amenities, as a large swimming pool, basketball court, children's playgrounds, barbecue pits and beautiful grounds.The barbecue area overlooks the beach and allows you to have your own BBQ party by the beach. All amenities at the condo are within gated areas and only available for condo residents or renters.
The apartment itself was renovated and decorated. The style is a contemporary modern one, using white and grey as primary colors with turquoise and magenta as accent colors, giving it a very relaxed atmosphere, ideal for your vacation.
The apartment can accommodate up to 7, especially if some are children, configured as follows:
Master bedroom: one king sized bed and one twin and a have (45 inches) size futon, for 3 guests.
Second bedroom: one queen sized bed. 2 guests.
Living area: one queen sized high quality sofa bed, for 2 guests.
Bed mattresses and linens were carefully selected for your sleeping enjoyment.Towels are thick and thirsty 100% cotton. Both bedrooms have blackouts and window treatments.
There is good storage space for clothing, since both bedrooms have closets.

A glorious week on the beach!

We are so so thankful for our stay in this beautiful space. Jorge went above and beyond in securing a basketball for our 3 sons to use, and they played basketball, swam in the ocean, and soaked up the view every single day.

Beautiful and just what I hoped for!

Annie's apartment was the perfect place to stay for 4 wonderful nights in San Juan to kick off summer. As described in other reviews, it is well-equipped for fun at the beach and was very clean. The layout of the apartment and the multiple bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect for me and my 3 kids (all tweens/teens). The constant breeze and sound of the ocean was probably my favorite part of our stay! Jorge was in touch with us during the stay and was very helpful. I found the directions for check-in were easy. The security was very helpful in providing information upon our arrival. You can't get any closer to the beach, the pool was lovely and there is plenty of shopping (grocery, pharmacy, convenience stores and souvenirs) and dining options close by. You will not be disappointed by the 18th floor apartment!

Breathtaking views

The views here are even better than the pictures show! Our stay was wonderful and Annie was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Beaches weren't too crowded to enjoy. Overall a great vacation!

Great location and great communication

This location is close to everything and has a great pool and access to a private beach. One of the best locations for families. Good communication with the property management company. They have been very helpful with making this a great experience for us.

Fantastic stay!!

Absolutely loved our time in Puerto Rico and our stay at Anne’s place was perfect! Waking up to that view every morning was breathtaking and the location was great! Lots to do within walking distance and easy access to anywhere else you might want to go! Already want to plan our return! Check in process was so easy and Anne’s directions were so easy to follow. Amazing!!

As soon as you walk in your greeted with the gorgeous view, I would sit every morning on the balcony just to see the sunrise and everyday it was beautiful. The condo is beautiful the amenities were amazing my kids had a great time both on the beach and the pool. The security was great we felt safe knowing there was security 24/7. We be coming back for Christmas.

Very Nice Condo and Location

The condo/apartment is in a very nice location and within close walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants, bars, casinos, and grocery stores. The Marbella property is very nice and safe and the other people who were staying here were very polite. The beach was wonderful and not very crowded. The manager was very responsive and brought a new cooler to us when we told her the cooler that was supposed to be at the condo was missing. The only negative I could think of was we prepared quite a few meals in the condo and it would be nice if there were a few more pots, pans, and cooking bowls to use, but we made it work. Overall, I would definitely stay at this condo again as we had a fantastic stay.

Amazing!

We had an incredible weekend in Annie’s apartment. She was very attentive and helped us before getting into the apartment. We had all the essentials we needed for the weekend. Since we first opened the door we could feel the peace that the apartment offers. It has a peaceful environment, the staff were really humble and kind to us since the beginning. The bedrooms where really comfortable and we could hear and enjoy the sounds of the waves from it at night. We absolutely loved the apartment and would definitely come back in a future. Thank you so much!!

Amazing views

The condo is lovely with breathtaking views and wonderful breezes. The building has a great deal of security measures that insure safety. The area offers lots of things to do and restaurants to choose from. We have stayed in these Marbella condos every February for over 25 years so we are very familiar with it. My only suggestion for the management would be to consider a keyless entry into the condo itself. Sometimes it is difficult to manage two sets of keys with four active adults. But overall, a great week!

Very small, old & not clean

The property is not cleaned properly. Kitchen was dirty & old. One of the doors under the kitchen was falling apart. None of the appliances or kitchen utensils were clean. The bathrooms are renovated but tiny. The shower glass separator does not contain the water & the water gets on the bathroom floor. The vents for the HVAC is weirdly connected in such a way that you get all the smells from other apartments into 1806.

Perfect location!

This was my families first trip to Puerto Rico, and I'm so glad we stayed at this property. The apartment is beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. We loved being on the 18th floor. There are plenty of elevators and they are quick. The view was magnificent! The property is very secure, almost to a fault (the gate to the beach is a circular metal thing that only lets one person through at a time with a key. Difficult to carry beach chairs and coolers through), but I'm sure those precautions are necessary to feel safe and secure, which we did. If you don't want to hassle with carrying chairs, they are inexpensive to rent, but are taken in at 4:30. Annie was great to work with! She met us at the property and showed us everything we needed to know. Isla Verde is a very good area to stay in, with many things close by. Old San Juan and the Castillos are a must, and a good 1/2 day adventure is the zipline/cave rappelling trip at Campo Rico, which is very close by. Our first night we ate at Rest. Toston Caribeno, which is just down the street, and were introduced to Mofongo with chicken and beef, which was delicious and very filling. The thing I am missing the most since being home is the sound of the waves on the beach at night. That is the most relaxing sound in the world, and this is the place to stay if you need to unwind!

Lovely Tropical Getaway

My friends and I spent two delightful weeks in this San Juan condo - it was a great tropical getaway with so much to enjoy. We found its location to be perfect: walking distance to stores and restaurants (we especially liked Playa Papaya, Entrevinos and El Alambique), a short, inexpensive Uber ride away from the attractions of Old San Juan and, best of all, situated on a spacious, beautiful palm-lined beach with convenient lounge chair rentals. We thought the condo building was well cared for -- the pool is large, clean and never crowded or noisy when we wre there, the public areas are nice, the security folks were reassuring and helpful. Some reviewers have mentioned problems with noise - we didn't expeience that. Our unit itself was comfortable and full of sunlight and cool breezes. We never had to turn on the airconditioning. The living space was roomy and nicely decorated in tropical colors, but could have used more comfortable seating options. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the Isla Verde beach - morning coffee, evening glases of wine, a constant attraction! Both bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage (the beds, however, were not as comfortable as we'd hoped). There were plenty of thick bath towels in the remodeled bathrooms and a good supply of beach towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was especially helpful for us - used often. The kitchen was rather small (as other reviewers have noted) but adequate for our needs: coffee maker, microwave, toastes, all working fine. Both the owner and the property manager were helpful and responsive. My questions pre-arrival were answered promptly - and when we had a small emergency involving the front door, Val the property manager was easy to reach. She solved the problem for us quickly and well. We didn't want to leave! We felt sad to lock the door for the final time and head back to cold Illinois. But our two weeks at this beachside condo provided with memories we will cherish all year long.

We had a great stay! Suitable for a family of 5 adults. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and made getting around super convenient. The apartment is in a great building. I would say the area outside the building is more for older kids and adults than younger kids. Host had great communication. Check in was a little confusing. Apartment could use some extra attention to details. Overall, good place and great host.

Great location, but small fixes would help

We recently stayed at this VRBO and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent—close to great restaurants and very walkable, making it easy to explore the area. The views from the unit are truly stunning, which was a highlight of our stay.However, there were some issues with the accommodations. The balcony doors didn’t close well, though we were able to open them. The bathrooms lacked exhaust fans, and the master shower constantly dripped. Additionally, the hot water in the master bathroom was inconsistent, fluctuating between scalding hot and cold, which felt unsafe. The guest bathroom, on the other hand, never got truly hot—just lukewarm at best. The showers also didn’t have soap holders, which was inconvenient.As for the beds, the guest bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, which made for a less restful sleep.Overall, while the location and views were fantastic, the maintenance issues and comfort concerns impacted our experience. With a few improvements, this could be a great stay.

Beautiful spring break visit

Perfect in every way!

The apartment is fabulous, spotlessly clean, with an unbelievable view of the pool and beach. The condo complex is fantastic, excellent security, extremely well located, lovely facilities. We are a family of five, mom, dad and three sons. We grew up coming to Isla Verde beach every Sunday, especially in the area from Marbella del Caribe to El San Juan Resort. It was the place to be on week ends, so we have fond memories of the area. We still love it here, and now share it with our renters.

Why they chose this property

This property has the great advantage that it is right on the beach, while at the same time, having other amenities, as a great huge pool, basketball court, playgrounds etc. You just need to get on your beach clothes and take the elevator down, and a few steps further on, you are on the beach, while being is a very safe condo, with 24/7 security, and assigned parking space.
At the same time, if you feel like exploring the island it is a good place to stay, since it is very close to Highway 66, that goes to the East, where most of the attractions like Rainforest and bio bay tours are.

What makes this property unique

The minute I saw this apartment I fell in love because of the stunning views from the 18th floor....I knew it needed some work but the basic ingredient of a great location, was there. After the renovation work, I think the apartment is a true gem, and I wouldn't mind if I get the chance to use it myself every now and then....
