House was nicer than we were expecting. Be prepared to use your own logins for smart TVs. Property was spread out more than we thought and we needed to drive to the different locations (pools, beach, etc.) on the property from our location.LOTS of mosquitos this time of year. More of a drive into Galveston than we were expecting but also made it seem a little more remote. Overall, we would recommend.

Barely lived in, very clean house with a lot of beds that were all comfortable! Three king bedrooms is super rare! Easily fit our family of 6 and grandparents. Bunk room was great for kids, and a nice, clean, new pack n play was provided for our 2 year old. Clean bathrooms with nice showers. Water pressure in master was a bit of a problem, though. Air conditioner struggled to get to ideal temperatures that would be most comfortable for us, particularly at night. To be honest, I’m not a fan of the thermostat being locked off by owners and preventing us from adjusting it any lower. I did love that there were fans in every room! There was a broom and dustpan that was helpful, but nothing else, and I just really appreciate a vacuum or swiffer of some sort- helps to keep the place clean. The floors were beautiful and easy to care for, though. No carpet! Reasonably easy checkout procedure without numerous steps to complete like others I’ve had. Overall, it was a lovely beach house for a last minute family vacation at Pointe West!
