Raven's Nest - On Water, Calm Cove, Next to Boat Launch, BBQ Patio, Pool Table!

We are located on the water in a quiet cove next to the community boat launch. No need to worry about parking, as we have a large horse-shoe driveway that can accommodate at least 4 trucks and boats. You can sit on the back porch, BBQ, drink coffee, and enjoy the view. We have a large open Kitchen/Living room, equipped with a Pool Table for entertaining. We have fast Wi-Fi, and a 65" Smart TV in the Livingroom, with a small pullout sofa. There are (2) Queens beds and (4) Full beds total. We are centrally located in mid-lake area, approx. 10 minuets away from local bait stores, restaurants, grocery stores, and the adventure water-park. Whether you are bringing the family, small group, or just a couples getaway, we are sure you will love the space. Go fishing on one of the nations top bass fishing lakes, go for a swim at local parks, or just hang out and shoot a game of pool and while cooking a meal, whatever it is, we are sure you will pass a good time!

It was a beautiful home in a great quiet location so close to boat launches we were able to take the boat out every day and the kids played pool every night

Everything was EXCELLENT!! Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. Not only is there shampoo, conditioner AND body wash available for guests, the host also has body lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss! Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper (even baby wipes!) Card games in the kitchen drawer. (We left some fake eggs and dye in there for the next guest with a couple kiddos, too!;)) Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, fishing poles, coloring books, dog food were all in the utility room for guest use! A lot of reviews mention the steep walk from the boat launch up.. it is steep, but it’s not bad at all. And I am FAR from “in shape.” From the launch, we caught lots of catfish fishing bottom with a worm, and lots of brim using a worm and a cork. I caught the biggest white perch of my life outside the cut. Now; my only bit of advice for future guests, if you have a 2 wheel drive and backing a decent sized boat into the water, bring a clean pair of shorts because the launch is mostly gravel and you will slide a little bit thinking you’re about to go right into the water! The bottom 20 feet or so of the launch is concrete so that’s where you can relax a little. We almost went to another launch to load the boat back up but we decided to chance it. Once we got the boat on the trailer, we floored it on the concrete and didn’t let up til we were on even ground. It worked but it was scary lol 10/10 recommend this place. We had the best time!!! Bonus: the neighbors are incredible!

We are a small family from south Louisiana. My husband is a contractor by trade and we love to fish & hunt. We found most of our off time was being spent in Toledo Bend. So we decided to build our own place. We poured our sweat and tears into this building for over a year and are soo pleased with the final results, we couldn't help but want to share it with others wanting to visit this great lake.

Why they chose this property

We choose this neighborhood because it is centrally located in mid-lake close to all the amenities Toledo has to offer. Being located in the center of the lake also gives us convenient access to trailer to any landing we choose. On calm days we can use the community boat launch, which is located directly next to our property, and travel by boat to the north or south end of the lake easily.

What makes this property unique

Raven's Nest is newly built metal building with a Louisiana flare. We love to entertain and that is what our building is centered around. We have a large open kitchen/living with all the essentials for a homecooked meal. Not to mention the Pool Table right in the kitchen! The large back porch is perfect for BBQ, grilling on the flat grill, or just having a cup of coffee. Keep your eye out for the bald eagles that frequently visit our backyard as well.
