Cons outweigh the pros
Pros: location was exquisite, great parking situation, exterior seating deck was nice, super easy access to room, bedding seemed clean, window in room faced the ocean (this room is on the second floor so the ocean was visible).
Cons: poorly cleaned (floors were sticky/slimy, bathroom floor had lots of hair and debris from past guests, windows dirty, toilet had old feces under the seat???), whole room was damp, air conditioner didn't work well enough to keep it cool, blinds weren't flush with the windows (literally several inches of a gap between glass and blinds on the big door window) so tons of light poured in at night from the porch lights plus anyone in the common area could see very clearly into our room... The electrical outlet in the bathroom by the sink was a safety hazard because it was not even fully installed - it kind of hung there by its wires and not properly set into the wall. Overall, the room felt very run down.
These are such basic things and because the basics did not receive proper attention, the low price was still too high for what you get. The photos do not show the obvious wear and tear that exists. Will not stay there again.
