We had a great one night stay at this perfect apartment. Just steps away from Goodspeed Opera House. Had an amazing dinner at Jimmie's Restaurant across the street, wonderful Bolognese and Delmonico Ribeye. The beds were comfy (linens & towels supplied), the kitchen well equipped, & lots of hot water for the shower. We had a chance to meet Elizabeth when we checked in, she was very nice & helpful. A nice mini get away for us!

Elizabeth’s East Haddam property surpassed our expectations. The spotless apartment was “beyond our wildest dreams “ spacious, outfitted with comfortable furniture/beds/sheets/comforters, a sweet kitchen with the largest microwave we’d ever seen mounted above the stove, laundry facilities, and a large bathroom with beautiful shower. The unit sported an easy first floor entry/access, plenty of parking, and a two minute walk to Goodspeed. There were more than enough electrical outlets and a helpful railing down the couple steps to one of the bedrooms. A window air conditioner and bedroom fans kept the entire space cool while adding white noise though it was a quiet oasis the entire time we were in this lovely home. We noted the unique decorative dining area window moulding, exposed wood ceiling beams, and a sleek, inviting dark marble-topped desk in front of an amazing natural accent wall shelf in one of the bedrooms. Several light colored painted brick walls add extra charm, shiplap/bead board gives the space that iconic country feel, and white - easy to use - window blinds contributed to the uncluttered feel of the space. But, what stood out the most, was Elizabeth’s stellar communication and her warm ‘n welcoming ways. An unexpected bonus was the opportunity to meet her and her aDOGable pup upon check- in.

Perfect Location - Adorable Place

We had a great stay there. The place is so cute and comfortable. I loved the way it was decorated. Only negative was rhe wifi, but that is a l8cation problem - all around town. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Great location. Great stay.

If you are visiting for a show at the Goodspeed Opera House or just looking for a convenient spot to stay and enjoy the river valley, this is a great place. Walking distance to the inn and theater, and easy over the bridge and all directions up and down the river. Enjoy!
