We have meticulously designed every detail of Boreal Basecamp to offer an exceptional living experience. Our accommodation includes a stocked gear closet, fully stocked kitchen, premium bedding, front load washer and dryer, a 75" TV in the great room, and many other modern amenities that guarantee a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

We love our pets too, but pets are not allowed at Boreal Basecamp.

No smoking of any kind is permitted in the home or on the outside deck.

Use of the private deck is limited to 10 pm out of respect for our neighbors.

Upon checkout, we ask that you remove all garbage from the home and place it in the garbage dumpster at the entrance of the neighborhood. Our dedicated cleaning staff will take care of everything else.

Age restriction: All renters and their guests must be over the age of 23 unless accompanied by a parent (I.D. Verification required after confirmed booking)

Had a wonderful stay with family for end of summer trip. Everyone absolutely LOVED the home, no complaints. It was clean, all kitchen essentials provided, daughter loved eating outdoors and making s’mores on the firepit. So many outdoor activities nearby, including fishing, hiking and canoe rentals. The Boreal Basecamp was even better than promised. We loved the fresh, clean and tasteful space. Melinda had the condo outfitted with everything we needed and more-- so. many thoughtful extras! The location was private and peaceful while still being very convenient to Wilmington, Lake Placid, etc. We will definitely return in the future.

Fantastic Stay

This brand new condo has all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Our family (4 of us, including our 2 adult children) stayed for a week and explored the area. The owners provided everything you could possibly think of, and things we didn't even realize we wanted! We enjoyed AuSable Chasm, especially the adventure course. The hiking here is amazing- so many hikes to choose from! We even spotted some fun wildlife in the back yard when we were sitting on the deck. We had a good time checking out all of the Olympic venues and had a blast in the curling class. We had a lot of delicious restaurant meals, and had some meals at "home" too, which was great! We also spent an afternoon just relaxing on the beach, and taking the cart down made that easy. This unit is one of the earlier ones to be completed in this subdivision, so there is some construction happening nearby. However it was not a problem for us as most work happening is interior at this point. The host is super responsive and communicates extremely well. I would highly recommend this rental!

Boreal Basecamp is situated in the Owaissa Club neighborhood in the historic Adirondack town of Wilmington, New York. It is home to the famous Whiteface Mountain, which hosted the alpine skiing events of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games and has been a witness to many ski and snowboard greats throughout its history.

However, Wilmington offers more than just Whiteface. The AuSable River winds through the town, attracting canoers, kayakers, and enthusiastic fishermen with its renowned fly fishing. The mountainsides are adorned with numerous hiking and biking trails for adrenaline junkies seeking a rush. And for those desiring a brief respite from the wilderness, Lake Placid and its Olympic venues - Mt Van Hoevenberg, Olympic Jumping Complex, and the Olympic Center - are just a short drive away. A trailhead for Marble Mountain and the Wilmington Wild Forest, a stunning section of the Adirondack Forest Preserve, is a half mile from our home and offers immediate access to miles of hiking, mountain biking, and snowmobiling trails. Moreover, Whiteface Ski Mountain is just a three-minute drive from Boreal Basecamp.

Guests have access to the Boreal Basecamp gear closet that includes a fishing net, Patagonia and Fjallraven backpacks, Yeti cooler, water bottles, lantern, beach chairs, a wagon, and more!
