Great place to stay with a group! The house had lots of places to socialize indoors and out. The dock was a great place to hang out and the kayaks were a great addition! Brian was quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Lake with amazing Sunsets

We booked this as a mini vacation for our family and had the best time! We had everything we needed and spent a lot of time on the dock and back deck. The lake is absolutely beautiful we can’t wait to return. The host was amazing and very quick with responding with any questions!

Lake Hartwell Retreat

This was the perfect house and location for our family gathering. The house is right on the lake and the dock was such a fun place to sit and socialize while the kids swam and played in the lake. The kitchen was well equipped with all the things you would need to prepare meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great for all the family

Brian and his wife were great hosts, easy check in and out process. Very accommodating and swift to reply to questions. House was probably the most packed with family fun activities - enjoyed by all. Great weekend

Yearly Lake Trip

The house was set us so perfectly for our family. Very well stocked. Communication with the owners is top notch. We hardly left the dock area. Just loved lounging around that space.

Great house!

The house was perfect for the group of us staying there. We had space to ourselves and enough space to all be together when we wanted. There wasn't anything we were missing. Enjoyed having access to the water as well! Would definitely recommend.

All the comforts of home

It is said there is no place like home until staying here. There was no amenity missing for our large family. Tons of games for all ages as well as comfortable areas to enjoy reading. Due to cooking our family meals we appreciated the large variety of spices. Thank you!

House was very nice, looked just like the photos in listing. Was very happy with the supplied floats and kayaks…dock was beautiful. Bedrooms were great, beds were absolutely the best we’ve experienced in a rental. I meant to look at the mattress tag before we left, lol. The only downside to this home would be the hill to get to the dock…it is fairly steep. I would have utilized the dock more if the hill wasn’t such a struggle. Not something that can be fixed, but certainly keep in mind if you have health or mobility issues. Overall, great property!

Perfect for multi familys!

We came to this property with my family, the in-laws and family friends. It was nice to have the 2 kitchens. The main kitchen had all the supplies you could ever need! The oven was a little older and ran a little hot, but the downstairs one worked perfect, with a little more prep space as well. All beds were comfy and clean. The view was perfect, and watching all the deer was entertaining. The hill down to the water is pretty steep if you have elderly, and will give you a work out on the way up, but totally worth it for the fun dock! Loved the bench that sat in the water! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!

Family graduation

There was one trash can to put trash for four days with 8people. We had to drive 15 minutes to dispose of trash so raccoons wouldn’t get into it. . The outdoor furniture was filthy and unusable. I would suggest better trash management with secure lids and cleaning outdoor furniture.

Stefanie: I am sorry that your stay was less than ideal. We appreciate you taking the time to point out these issues. The 32 gallon can has been sufficient in the past for us and our guests since we ask that there be no parties and limit the number of total guests to 12. We have added a rollaway outdoor can to more than triple this capacity. Also, there is a closer trash drop off that’s 9 minutes away. This is still not ideal, but quiet lake properties are remote. The outdoor furniture cushions had been left out in the rain and were covered with pollen. There were/are clean cushions in the storage boxes on the deck and back porch. We will add this fact to our instructions for the house.
