About this property

I just finished building a dream vacation home in 2018. I installed a new heated in ground 16' x 32' pool with 9' spa. This will have a few different water features. One being a waterfall spill over. The other being deck jets that shoot a stream of water 5' into the air. Everyone goes to the Cape for the beach. I'm located 1 mile away from Seagull Beach. But when you come home there is a place for kids to go and hang out for a while. So you can just relax. The cabana that is situated behind the pool in the back yard has an arcade style video game. This game has over 1100 games. The cabana has an 8' pool table that will keep them busy. There will be a LGTV 55" flat screen TV with plenty of seating. This house is huge it sleeps 16 with a bunk room that sleeps 8 kids comfortably. 4 king bedrooms and a loft that can be a king or 2 singles. The living room has seating for 10 people on the most lovely, comfortable sectional couch ever ITS TO DIE FOR. The house is alarmed with video surveillance system. It has been freshly painted inside from ceiling to floor and all the walls, doors and trim in between. We worked hard to open up the floor plan. So it will maximize family interaction. The outside deck is so awesome it has a large table and chairs for 10 and also a kids table with 4 chairs for some more outdoor dining.

Cape cod beach vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The backyard and pool were spectacular. The beaches were perfect. Short walk to the coffee shop. Close to numerous activities for the kids. There were only 2 downsides. The kitchen is very small only one person at a time or 2 skinny people. And one of the king sized beds had a plastic cover over the mattress without a mattress pad on top. There was a sheet on top but you still noticed the plastic covering. That being said, neither of those things was a deal breaker and we are looking forward to going back next year!

Yearly family vacation

The property was exactly as shown. This was our first year at this residence. We had a total of 11. There was ample space for everyone to enjoy time together. Also the layout gave each part of the family space for themselves if they wanted. The neighborhood was very quiet and nice for walking . The backyard was used the most awesome pool and cabana.

Perfect for large groups especially families with teens

Loved the pool and the cabana. Teens had the best time playing pool and swimming. The fire pit was a huge hit and the gorgeous fire table by the pool was the best surprise. We felt like we were at a fancy resort! Chris was a great host and very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to return.

Great Vacation

Vacation was enjoyed by all. The house and Host were great. We had 5 children and six adults. The bunk room was perfect for all the kids ranging in age from 4-9 yrs. Plenary of room for all 6 adults. House was clean on arrival and fit all of us easily. The big screen TV and sitting area was plenty large enough for all of us to sit around and watch movie in the evening. The location to all the area beaches is vey good. 5 min drive to several locations. The pool is large with with a lot of lounges in like new condition. Clean and the kids spent a lot of time in the pool. Game room is a nice amenity. Kids played video game provided and we brought a Nintendo game for them to play on TV in the game room. The house is situated in a nice quite neighborhood. With a large rear yard for the kids to play games and catch a baseball. Has a fire pit we used one evening. Owner had a large supply of firewood and toys for kids to play with. All made for a memorable week the kids will remember.

Perfect vacation home

We spent July 1-8 at this house and we could not have been any happier. The location is central to so many things, making shopping, ice cream trips & beach days easy. The entry process was simple, door code worked great. The house was clean & smelled clean in all rooms. Plenty of space for our family, including our 2 kids (19 & 21) as well as their 3 friends (also 19 & 21). The bunk room was perfect for 3 19 year old boys, while the girls each had a beautiful room with a king bed. My mother had her own room as well. The master suite upstairs was very comfortable, my husband & I enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. Living room was spacious & comfy. Plenty of towels & beach towels were provided. The inground pool, hot tub and water features worked perfectly. The pool house was a favorite spot for the 5 young adults. Pool table, large tv & video game provided lots of entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Bonus outdoor bar & fridge was a hit. Chris was very easy to work with while booking. We look forward to staying there in the future! Great family vacation

Just returned from a very enjoyable,week at the Sand Dollar house. Our party of 8 adults and 3 children had lots of space to enjoy being together and doing separate activities. Houze was very well supplied with towels, sheets, kitchen equipment. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The club room was also wonderful. Hope to return at another time. Communication with Chris was very easy and prompt.

A rainy Memorial stay, but still a great stay

Chris was an excellent host, he must have a background in hospitality. The property was spot on from the website, very simple straight forward entry instructions. He even ordered pool sticks for the pool table during my stay to ensure a positive experience. Everything from grill seasonings and utensils to top notch cleanliness to having a bag of ice in the refrigerator. Spring getaway for the whole family

We really needed a getaway where we could enjoy time at home with friends and kids but go out and explore if we wanted to. This house fit the bill! The owner Chris was very flexible setting up the pool and hot tub for us. Even though the weather wasn’t so warm - the kids didn’t mind and jumped in the pool twice a day. There was a lot of space in the house for everyone and the extra cabana house was fun for the kids too. The beaches were close by and very quiet in April. We drove to a few hiking and walking trails and Hyannis was super close. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. We would go back another time for our next getaway !

Golf Weekend Trip

The house and property was awesome.! There was plenty of beds and rooms in the house, the yard was large and had a great deck. What a trip

So, we were very hesitant about our travelling during the pandemic, and made it just in time, before heavier restrictions hit the Cape. The home was exceptionally great, and Chris was great to deal with and answered all our questions, and was forthcoming and helpful about what he was experiencing in regards to the pandemic and how things were being affected in West Yarmouth. Vacation looked a little different than normal, but everything turned out wonderful and everyone had a great time. Our party spent so much time in the great pool, it was so fun, great addition to the property. We will do it again, thanks Chris!

Great cape cod escape -

Wonderful property in a quiet neighborhood. More than enough room inside and we’ll laid out to accommodate our group and give us a little privacy from the rest of the folks in the house. The pool and hot tub were a highlight for the kids. The pool house was a great place to congregate at night for the adults. Close to several beach’s, we went to Seagull beach a few times ($20 per day to park). Busy but not overcrowded. Overall, a great experience, no issues at all!

Cape Cod Adventure

Our family had a wonderful experience staying at this property. There were so many extras that we did not expect. The sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, were part of the experience. We mostly cooked, because of Covid 19 and restaurant restrictions. There’s a wonderful grill and the backyard is fabulous. Would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to have a wonderful vacation.

Outdoor/Pool Area Nice - House w A/C issues

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the pool and spa are nice and as described however we did have an issue with the A/C. During check-in we received instructions to not turn A/C below 70 degrees or it would freeze up (signaling a known problem). After leaving the temp at 71-72 degrees the A/C froze up. It took over 24hrs for servicer to show up during which we were told the unit was 2lb low on coolant and had other issues. During this process the owners response to us was "Its nice out get some fresh air." We appreciate things break, but the laminated card on the wall which stated keep A/C above 68 followed with an emailed instruction to keep above 70 degrees means this was a known issue which is unfortunate.

Happy we chose a house with a pool even though we spent many days at the beach.

We were very happy with our rental house. I wanted a pool and our 7 older grandchildren were in the pool every day. Even on days that we were at the beach, they showered off the sand in the outside shower and jumped into the pool when we got back. The large yard was also a plus for kicking around a soccer ball or playing with frisbies. The pool house was great when the kids needed a break from the pool. It also gave the adults some adults only time in the house. The house was big enough that we never felt crowded in spite of the fact that we had 8 adults and 8 children. Grocery shopping was close so it was convenient to run out to pick up groceries when they were needed. Many great restaurants within 30 minutes of West Yarmouth. Very convenient to Hyannis which has many cool shops and a JFK museum which was worth the nominal fee. We took the ferry out of Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard. It was a third of the cost of the ferry out of Hyannis. We went whale watching out of Barnstable which was awesome and the guys hired a fishing boat, the Anne B, in Dennis. We also hired a photographer, Michelle Kaye, out of Dennis to take family pictures at Sesuit Beach. All in all it was a great vacation.

Pristine so much to do at the house. The kids loved it during the day. Then man cave at night.

Outstanding rental for families!

This house exceeded my expectations from the pictures. We were 10 people but never felt we were bumping into one another. The house was fully stocked down to paper products. Our 4 teenagers had a blast in the bunk bed dorm. Living room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom next to the kitchen is handicapped accessible with a shower bench, grab bars on the walls and hand held shower. Access to the house were a low step at front door and two low steps inside, perfect for seniors. The backyard was a jewel with plenty of room for activities. Kids took over the pool house and made that their hangout. Pool and hot tub were very clean. Bedrooms had room darkening curtains on them. Suggestons: It would be helpful to have mirrors either on the wall or back of doors in the bedrooms next to the living room. It would free up bathroom for showering. Also, toilet next to kitchen was continually running. May need attention. Thanks for a very memorable vacation home. It was close to many stores, restaurants and actibities.

Enjoyable Memorial Day weekend

Picked this house for a five night stay during our first trip to the cape. What I liked was the location of the house, close to restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Neighborhood was quiet and surprisingly with a lot of wildlife around. The house itself was nice. Mostly updated with plenty of sleeping space, large fenced backyard, in ground pool, pool house and all the necessary amenities like towels, sheets, board games, even some non perishable food items, and paper plates, etc; great for a family gathering. The space in the kitchen was a bit small but it had a nice open concept. My one complaint was that after the first night there the pool heat stopped working. Maybe this would not be such a bad thing in the summer. However, the high during our stay was about 64 so we were looking forward to having a heated pool since the beach wasn't an option. Called the owner and sent a message and he was unable to get someone to fix it while we were there. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect for two families; All the ammenities.

We had an amazing week with two full size families in this home!! The layout of the home lends to privacy as well as socializing and entertaining. The home was fully equipped to cook in or out. We spent a large portion of the week just swimming in the beautiful inground pool, relaxing in the hot tub, playing outdoor games in the large yard and socializing around the deck. Owner was responsive and accommodating. Home was clean and well maintained. We would definetely recommend to a friend!!
