Old Timers' Farm & Ranch - 60 Acres with Expansive Views, Brand New Listing!
Enter the old west. The homestead sets in the middle of 60 acres, and feels like a century ago on the plains. Except plains with the sea one field away, and the San Juan islands in view. The surrounding fields are some of the most productive on the coast, which connects to why this isolated farm is next level for birding. Hike the rocky shore, meadows and forests of Deception Falls or Chuckanut. Foodies, bikers- the Skagit is all about eateries in farm country, and Edison is ground zero.

This rustic and cozy farm house was the perfect setting for our friend reunion. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of utensils, pots, pans, everything you need for home cooking! The beds were comfy and the living space was perfect for playing games, having meals, napping and visiting. The spacious views of the surrounding farm are breathtaking. Joe was a perfect host, with great communication!
We stayed here with family and there was plenty of space for all of us to sleep, even have a choice of which room and bed. It was extremely clean and comfortable.
Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was clean, roomy, comfortable and fun. We played pool every night, and woke up to beautiful views of Bow, WA. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was large and stocked. The host was always available and very nice. I highly recommend this house.
Incredible house for a charming get away. It was large and had plenty of sleeping space as well as good areas for large groups to share time together, cook, and eat. The house is full of charming little surprises that we loved to discover.
Excellent property for large family, lots of room to cook and lounge around, everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep. The quietness at night makes it for a great night of sleep Definitely staying there again.
We stayed at the Old Timers’ Farm and Ranch for a family wedding and had a wonderful time. The house and surrounding land is beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang out together. The house was clean and Joe was a very attentive and accessible host. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit the area!
We had a great time staying at the Farm! The location is gorgeous and worked wonderfully for our group. We had a big group of mostly adults (but also two kids) and the farmhouse had something for everyone, including a great room for us all to hang out in when we were “home.” The views in every direction (out every window) are spectacular. Our host Joe was super responsive and very helpful and made sure we felt at home.
The farmhouse accommodated my group wonderfully. We played the piano and enjoyed the views and numerous hangout spaces at the house. One note: the house could use new pool cues and a re-level of the pool table!
Our family gathered for the holiday weekend. The house was clean and had a welcoming authentic farmhouse vibe. It was not that "out of the box" new decor that is trying to look old. Instead it was filled with thoughtfully curated accumulations appropriate to a family home in the country. We were charmed. It is an extraordinarily peaceful setting. The bedrooms were comfortable. Great kitchen and appliances and large areas we could gather to visit and play games and eat together. We enjoyed strolling around and gathering outside as well--restful views in every direction. We had fun out and about too. Much to see and do in the area. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
This property is amazing! The house is OLD but does have some new amenities. We all loved the rustic charm of this house and very thankful for the working AC units downstairs because it got into the mid 80s during the day. The pool table and ping pong was a fun way to pass some time because there really isn’t much space to spend any time outside. The grass is pretty tall all around the place (4 feet). A little more mowed area would be nice instead of just a few paths around the house and to a tire swing. The house comes pretty well stocked with kitchen supplies (bowls, plates, etc) but you might have to buy some things like coffee filters as they only had one in a box when we arrived but we were staying for a couple nights… the host thought there was a reusable filter in the machine but we couldn’t find one anywhere. Entering through the gate can be a bit tricky as there is only enough room to get your vehicle through with tall grass and bushes on either side of the long driveway. So getting out to open the gate involves pulling into the 4 foot long grass on the passenger side so you can open your driver side door enough to get out and not stand in the long grass. The gate has to be also pushed through this long grass until it reaches the tire tracks of the driveway. It sounds more difficult than it actually was but for some it might be a bit of a challenge. We really did love the house though and the quirkiness/rustic charm of it. We would come back!
