This was a great place for us to set up “base camp”. Fairplay is a pretty neat little place. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere and an hour or so from everywhere. Nice and quiet.
This place is perfect! It was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed and the hot tub was an added bonus. I would, and most likely will, stay here again!
Property is super clean and has everything you should need for your stay. Neighborhood has some properties that are a little on the trashy side, but it was quiet, lot sizes are big and close proximity to town. We would stay here again.
My buddy, son and I needed a place to stay while fishing in the Fairplay area. The cabin was perfect for us. It was easy check in/out, very clean and met all our needs.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Communication with owner was excellent throughout stay and Fairplay location was beautiful and fairly centralized to multiple avenues of entertainment and adventure. So pleased with the stay at this cabin! Side note for travelers from out of state, make sure to bring your own grocery bags. Small grocery store in Fairplay does not have any, not even paper sacks, unless you pay for one. And the one you pay for there does not hold much. Thank you!
My family and I loved staying at this house. It was nestled away on a small street with plenty of space between neighbors. It still felt brand new and built somewhat like a cabin with beautiful wood throughout. It had comfortable beds, mini split ACs that worked great (and hard to find in the mountains). The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Big TVs. There's really nothing more we could have asked for. We were sad to leave after 5 days. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the little prairie dogs run around. Fairplay is a nice town that we've visited the last few years. It's the perfect place to slow down and just relax. There's a grocery store right down the street. We also enjoyed the local Snitching Lady Distillery. Definitely recommend this place and we would stay here again. Perhaps next summer!
