This house was great for our extended family of 9! The kids had a lot of fun in the bunk room and the proximity to an ice cream parlor and TWO parks was really clutch. We cooked most meals in the house and had ample prep and dining space for our group. Overall a great stay!
We loved staying in this historic home. They had everything we needed and was well stocked with extras for our 8 guests. Each room was neatly organized and had lots of toys for the kids! We can’t wait to stay here again!
This was a great property! Our stay was fantastic. The house was well equipped and had everything that we needed. We were able to have family dinners and play games together. After that there was plenty of space to spread out and get any alone time needed. We would definitely rent here again!!
The house was perfect for our family vacation. We had a large group, with a big age range and it was perfect! We had everything we needed. The view from the backyard was beautiful, and we enjoyed the use of the bicycles.Communication was prompt and easy, we felt very welcomed.
Aida’s home was so beautiful and welcoming. Family — young and old — came from 7 places across the country to spend the week together. We had everything we needed and enjoyed being so close to the beach at Century Park. Such beautiful sunsets!
Perfect spot for large groups. You can seat 10 at the table. Lots of room on covered porch and backyard. Well appointed and beds were very comfortable.
The house is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We stayed in May for our daughter’s college graduation and loved it. The only downside was these little bugs (no idea what they are) came out in swarms and we couldn’t enjoy the porch or backyard as much as we would have liked. We assume it was a fluke of weather (lots of rain) plus time of year. Aida was very responsive and the home suited our extended family very well. We didn’t have younger children, but the top floor children’s room is magical!
Our family had a wonderful gathering here to visit my parents! The kitchen was well equipped for making a turkey dinner with all the sides. The dining table was amply sized for eleven people to eat dinner, play games, and catch up. We took a lot of walks in the nearby park and down to the pier. The large third floor bedroom worked really well as a place for the young adults to play video games and noisier board games while the older generation talked downstairs.

The guests left the home in excellent condition. I welcome them back anytime!
Our family of 11 ranging in age from 1 to 70 spent 5 nights here. The bedrooms were spacious, the dining table seated everyone, including the one in a high chair. We enjoyed the porches, the back yard, and the games provided. The kitchen was very well-equipped. There were more than ennough dishes and cooking utensils. Communications with Aida were prompt and clear.
We had a wonderful stay at Lita's Lake House. Built in 1900, the house has real character, and it's clearly been well maintained over the years. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils — even a nice little coffee corner we appreciated every morning. The back yard on Lake Erie and the large front porch were highlights; we spent a lot of time out there. Inside, the big dining room table became the heart of the house — that's where the family gathered and hung out most. As a bonus, it's walking distance to K-Cream Parlour for ice cream and soft serve, which was a hit with everyone!
Our extended family group (10 people) had a great experience at Lita's Lake Home. Everything you could want: Fully equipped kitchen, great furnishings for family chats and activities, parking for 4 cars (more if you didn't mind filling the driveway), fabulous sunset views that mesmerized us, nice neighborhood, 6 bedrooms, and all of it absolutely sparkling clean. We travel a lot and this was the most immaculate VRBO we've encountered, which is especially awesome when you think about the challenge of cleaning all the spaces in an historic home. Some notes to be aware of: the bedroom on the third floor has a cute nautical theme, an aerie for the kids, with two twin beds and a full size bed. Our adult daughter enjoyed the full bed and the privacy up there and was fine with the whimsical kid vibe. The third floor also is a separate zone for the AC so if you have someone who needs a different temp, that floor is for them. We shared the bathrooms by assigning the full baths by family group, and left the downstairs powder room in the common space free for whomever. Totally worked out. The first floor master is posh but it is right next to the living room so early-to-bed guests may want a different room so the night owls can stay up together. We walked down to the Centennial Park and enjoyed watching the crashing waves from the jetty. Delightful all the way around! And less expensive than a boring hotel would have been. Highly recommend!
Great place to stay. Was exactly as advertised. We had plans in Cleveland, and loved the bonus of staying on the lake in this charming, well-appointed home. Welcoming guests with a complimentary bottle of wine is a nice touch.
