About this property

Lake Retreat With Hot Tub

The Cozy Nest is an adorable three-bedroom, pet-friendly cottage with amazing views of a quiet, no-wake lake. There is a private, 4-person hot tub overlooking the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your use. Fiber optic wifi will keep you connected. There are a couple of bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as a canoe, tandem kayak, and paddle boat to venture out on the water. Shipshewana is a quick 15-mile drive away.

Cedar Lake is great for fishing or enjoying the water. It isn't good swimming off our shore. But the views are amazing!

The main bedroom has a king-sized bed plus a day bed with a trundle. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a desk. The third bedroom has two twin beds.

The hot tub runs all year and accommodates four people.

We do our best to provide a full-service and friendly stay!!

I was here for a business trip and as such did not have the time to enjoy the outdoor amenities, but found the interior to be extremely relaxing and comfortable and clean and The view very peaceful and calming. I felt truly right at home and having a refrigerator that was practically fully stocked made the visit even more pleasurable. The ambiance at the decor provides is very soothing and relaxing. The quietness of the neighborhood enabled me to completely relax and destress.

This place was so very lovely! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The house was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the space was exactly what we needed. I think our favorite thing was that we didn’t have to clean anything. It was so lovely to just pack up and leave. If nothing else was great, this would have still made this a 5 star review.

Perfect Lake Getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for a much needed getaway from the kids! It was so peaceful - we didn't want to leave! We enjoyed all the amenities of the Cozy Nest, especially a sunset canoe ride around the lake and the private hot tub!

Peaceful and relaxing!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time together while at The Cozy Nest. The sunrises over the water were absolutely beautiful! The abundance of turtles that gathered on the dock kept us entertained. If you need a relaxing getaway and a place to stay while visiting Shipshewana this is the place for you!
