Overall, the house was decent and drive able to the ocean. The host was excellent! He responded promptly to all my messages and addressed and issues I had. Some things that I should note though for any future prospects. 1. It looks like the nextdoor neighbor has a workout gym in his garage and he is a personal trainer for hire so people come and go at all hours of the day. This wouldn't be a problem except after doing deadlifts (or whatever) they throw the bar down onto the garage floor and our whole house shook. I've felt the house shake as early as 7am and as late as 9pm. It was quite annoying.2. The backyard is full of burrs. Although it was wonderful to have a fenced in yard so I didn't have to leash my dog when going outside, I had to pull burrs off his paws almost every time. It was nice to have a propane fire pit outside as the nights got cool. 3. A lot of the streets don't have sidewalks and therefore, the neighborhood cannot be walked safely, especially at night. The streets close by were all dead ends so they weren't very busy but further out, not so much. 4. The fridge had a frozen drain (which causes water pooling on the floor every so often). The host came by to temporarily fix it but it but that only lasted a couple days. There was also a knocking noise coming from it when making ice. It's fairly loud. The host said he was going to address it when we left.
