Welcome to Regent House Niagara-on-the-Lake (License #036-2021). This circa 1836 Georgian style 5 bedroom home is just one block away from Queen Street, the heart of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you'll discover a myriad of shops, restaurants, art galleries, the Shaw Theatre and North America's oldest golf course. A short walk to Lake Ontario brings you to what is considered one of the 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world by National Geographic.

Regent House has ample space to meet all your needs, while at the same time offering you comfort, warmth and a luxurious environment. All of our rooms are upscale, unique and tastefully decorated. Each of our 5 bedrooms have their own private ensuite. Enjoy the comforts of luxurious towels and spa toiletries in every bathroom. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare the perfect dinner. Stay connected with hi-speed wireless internet access and free North American long distance calling. A 60 inch HD LED TV , Blu-Ray player and Bose audio system are available should you want to stay in and watch your favourite movie.

Enjoy a glass of the many local VQA wines on the private backyard deck overlooking our beautiful gardens or watch the horse and carriage stroll by the front door. However you decide to spend your day and evening in Niagara-on-the-Lake you have the comfort of knowing that Regent House luxury vacation rental is waiting for you to ensure your stay is a memorable one.

The owners, Paul and Melissa will be contacting you directly after you have booked to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have. This is a really special place in NITL! It was the perfect venue for our 4-couple reunion. The two sitting areas, ample kitchen, and gorgeous backyard and deck made for wonderful opportunities for conversation and contemplation. Great, attentive hosts!

Everything was perfect!Melissa and Paul were professional and personable.The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated with sufficient place settings for 10, and cookware. We have come to NOTL at least once a year since 2017, and this by far was the best house in every way especially since my family has expanded. My 3 sons with their wives, my sister and her partner had a memorable experience. A real plus was each couple had thier own bathroom, also tastefully done. We definitely would come back. Thank you

Four 70 year old friends from grad school met up for 4 fabulous days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We chose Regent House for its space--4 bedrooms each with an en suite, plus another suite to spare! The location within easy reach of Queen Street as well as the Shaw Festival theaters was extremely important. We enjoyed all three of the shows we saw and fit in a little shopping on Queen as we walked back to the house. I loved my morning walks in the Historic District so appreciated Regent House's location even more. Melissa met us at the house and personally toured us, explaining some of the historic pieces and some of the transformations she and Paul have made to this gem of a house. All 4 of us loved sitting in the garden with coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings--what could be better?

The Regent House was charming, historical and the perfect location to enjoy all that NOTL has to offer. The beds were extremely comfortable, and each with its own bathroom was a wonderful feature. Melissa and Paul have created a comfortable and memorable retreat, and had all the amenities we needed and more.

We traveled to NOTL to visit family nearby. These accommodations were perfect! The hosts, Paul & Melissa, were very accommodating - met us upon check in to give a run through on the property. The location made it easy to pop in and out of the downtown area and take advantage of all that NOTL has to offer; it's just 1.5 blocks from Queen Street. The interior was beautiful!! All rooms were very comfortable. We had our adult children with us. So it was nice to have the downstairs to gather but then have everyone in their own private room in lieu of staying at nearby hotels. We would absolutely stay again in this beautiful home!

We loved this special historic house! we stayed here for a Christmas wagon ride and the NOTL parade. the location was perfect with plenty of parking. The house was big enough for us to spread out and had special places for us to come together! State of the art kitchen for cooking! The hosts were so gracious and made us feel welcome! We will be staying here again!

We were 4 couples enjoying a weekend away together for a wine tour. Ended up staying in both nights bbq-ing and cooking in the very well stocked kitchen. We wanted for nothing. We were greeted by our hosts who made sure we were familiar with every aspect of the house. Beds were so comfortable - everyone slept so well. Photos don't do this home justice. The sitting area at the back of the house sat all 8 of us comfortably when we brought in one padded chair from the kitchen. Less than 5 minute walk from all of the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend The Regent House!

Perfect family vacation spot

Wonderful!

The house was beautiful, the location was perfect, and the hosts were so nice and helpful. The house is just a block from the main area where restaurants and shops are located. The back yard is so inviting and peaceful for early morning coffee or a nighttime visit. We loved our stay there!

Could not have asked for a better experience for a week with friends. Paul and Melissa are absolutely wonderful hosts and the home is perfect. The bedrooms are comfortable and all have bathrooms. We are a group of women who have known each other for decades. We take a trip every year and this was the best accommodation yet! The location is perfect and we could walk everywhere. The house was immaculate, the hosts very helpful and they met us on arrival. The house itself is gorgeous and had everything we needed. We were all very sorry to leave.

Why they chose this property

Niagara-on-the-Lake has always been a special place for us. Every time we came to stay it seemed that Life naturally began to slow down. You feel this as soon as you arrive and it gives you a chance to appreciate what life has to offer. There are so many unique and wonderful places to see in the Niagara area including live theatre, wineries, music festivals, historic forts, museums, shopping and the most amazing display of flowers in a town centre we have ever seen. We are also located on the horse and carriage route. Beautiful Horses pulling fancy carriages and their guests can be seen all through the day and evening as they stroll past our front door. It's simply magical to see and hear them....

We have always wanted to live in NIagara-on-the-Lake and in 2010 that dream came true.

What makes this property unique

Regent House is literally a 30 second walk to Queen Street which is the centre of Historic Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are also a 5 minute walk to all three of the Shaw Theatre venues. Within a 20 minute drive there are over 35 excellent wineries to choose from. There are also many fabulous restaurants within walking distance or a short drive.

If you like biking, hiking or running there are many trails and pathways that offer breathtaking scenery. A couple that we really enjoy are the Niagara Parkway and the Bruce Trail. The Niagara Parkway is a paved path that you can walk, cycle, roller blade or run on which follows the Niagara River from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Niagara Falls and all the way to Fort Erie. Along the way you pass historic monuments, parks, a butterfly conservatory and of course the Falls. The Bruce Trail is a UNESCO designated area 700km long that has so many beautiful waterfalls, wildlife and scenery. It's our goal to hike the entire length at some point.
