STUNNING Home on 3 acre Private Pond w. Hot Tub, BBQ, Firepit
Gorgeous, recently renovated waterfront home on 8.5 acres with dock, hot tub, outdoor shower, gas grill, and smokeless fire-pit! Enjoy the view round round on your very own 3 acre pond -- Marilyn Monroe used to swim here when she lived up the road in Roxbury.
An easy 90 mins from NYC, the house sits nestled against the hillside with hundreds of acres of trails on adjourning land. After a day's hiking, swimming, paddle boating, relax in the hot tub on the stone patio and enjoy the sunset across the water! Plenty of seating indoors and out plus a hammock beneath a mature cherry tree and deck chairs on the sandy beach and by the fire-pit. 3 full bedrooms on the upper level (2 queen, 1 king with en suite, incl. jacuzzi tub) plus dining and 2 sitting rooms with fully equipped kitchen. 2 overflow bedrooms downstairs with a shower and large TV room.
There's plenty to do in the area, too - eg explore neighboring Washington (and its five villages), sampling its restaurants, shops, art gallery, farm market; try the restaurants and vintage shops in New Milford; go hiking in the Litchfield Hills.

Absolutely loved our stay! The backyard patio with its grill, firepit, and seating under the huge tree was perfect for evenings. We enjoyed the pond with a dock for launching inner tubes, and appreciated the ample bedding and towels. The mid-century modern decor, beautiful views, mirrors, and art truly made this home special.

This is so kind! It was a pleasure to have you guys here - hope you'll visit us again!
The pictures do not do this property justice; the location was perfect for our multi-generation family vacation. Plenty of space to hang out together or separately. We loved taking walks around the surrounding property, used the hot tub in a snow storm, were able to cook and enjoy many meals together. Gorgeous and unique furnishing and dish-ware made the home feel very luxurious. Sarah was very communicative and delightful to work with. We will come back in the summer to enjoy the pond!
House was very large and we had plenty of room. The landscape was beautiful as is the area. Sarah was very quick to respond to any questions. The house was very well equipped with all the necessities.

Thank you so much, you were wonderful guests - a pleasure to welcome you and we hope to see you again soon!
Absolutely beautiful place! Wall of windows look out on fabulous views. We were there in summer but I imagine the views would be equally lovely in fall, winter and spring. Beautifully decorated in mid-century modern style. Kitchen is very well appointed for those who'd like to cook. Host is very responsive and kind. The pond is a bit shallow so serious swimmers may find it wanting. Location is charming. Even enjoyed a free blue grass concert in neighboring Judy Black Garden. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much, Eva, it was a pleasure to host you!
Unbeatable combo of privacy, accessibility, ambiance and waterfront acreage.
This is a truly unique property. All the photos are true to life. The house is spacious, renovated, very tastefully decorated and well stocked. The extensive private waterfront acreage is precious. We traveled with our dog who had the time of his life running along the pond and swimming. No concern of disturbing anyone! Don't expect wilderness as there are two paved roads lining the pond from the other side. However, traffic is very infrequent and there is an unmistakable feeling of being out in the nature. Yet still, this property is within immediate reach of nearby towns of Woodbury and Washington. The host has been very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. We would absolutely come back.
