Perfect Family Away

This cabin was a perfect place to stay within distance of Higgins Lake! Me and my family enjoyed are stay. Carol was an amazing Host and went above and beyond for our stay!! Her place is so cozy and clean! We definitely will come back again!

Sail Away

Our stay at Carol’s little cottage was just perfect for our needs. Not only did she provide an ultraclean well organized vacation home, but also, she showed concern and respect for our wellbeing. The cottage was near family who live near Higgins Lake, just a 5-minute drive…perfect location. We highly recommend this little gem.

Nicely appointed, extremely clean, furnishings very comfortable. Equipped with everything one would need and then some. The Host was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer any questions. Neighborhood is quiet and one feels very relaxed at SailAway Rental. Will definitely request this property when we return north.

Higgins Lake weekend

We loved this house! We have stayed at rentals all over the US and this was in our top favorites. Not only was the house updated, it was incredibly clean and had so many details for renters. There was a nice welcome note from Carol with a basket of treats. Plenty of board games, books and a great checker table that we enjoyed playing. Plenty of cooking utensils and pans. They even provided some bottled water, coffee, and creamer. Carol was very responsive to questions and even checked in to make sure we arrived ok. Location to Higgins lake is so close making it a great option for fun on the lake. Looking forward to renting next year for our annual visit to Higgins lake.

Being close to Higgins Lake, is one of the best features of this area. The neighbors are friendly, and there are trails right down the street only a block away.

What makes this property unique

Hi, my house sits on a large corner lot and has a huge 2 level deck equipped with gas-to- coal BBQ grill and outdoor patio table and chairs, great for family night dinners outside. Get the "UpNorth" experience while sitting around the campfire toasting marshmallows and making s'mores together with friends and family.
