Newly Renovated 2 King, 2 Bath, AC, Fiber Optic Villa Ocean and Valley Views

Recently renovated with new deck overlooking the mountain views to compliment the already existing deck by the pool with ocean view. New fixtures, paint, etc. *No children under 12 years of age

Two king bedrooms each with full bathrooms, AC, and high speed wifi. Gated, private entrance with covered parking.

Perfectly situated in an elevated neighborhood capturing cool mountain breezes while enjoying jaw-dropping views. Easy access to one of the most beautiful waterfalls and river systems in Costa Rica.

I fell in love with this property because of the dramatic valley, jungle and ocean views. I believe you will too. It sits high above two river valleys and adjacent to a waterfall below, easily accessible by car or short hike. You will want to be there every day.

This home was built in 2011, highlighting Asian characteristics with indoor / outdoor living and sliding glass doors that disappear into the wall for total access to the pool area. There are two bedrooms each with private bathrooms. The master has an outdoor shower and indoor Jacuzzi tub . The second bedroom has an indoor shower. The living area is accented by a fireplace that is only for decor. There is a patio adjacent to the pool where you can enjoy private sunbathing , stargazing and yoga. A/C is available in the bedrooms but is rarely needed as there is usually a steady breeze through the home keeping the temperature pleasant during the day and possibly 'chilly' at night.

I love to cook so the kitchen is stocked with the necessary pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils etc to create a fantastic meals without leaving the mountain.

Paradise!

We loved it so much we came back for a second time! The location, the private pool, the view… all amazing! We enjoyed yoga on the patio in the mornings, lounging around the pool relaxing and spending time in this beautiful spot. Natasha was so helpful with planning a few special things for us. We had a delicious meal cooked for us by Chef Yuey, with enough leftovers for a few extra meals! Massages on the patio were very relaxing. We found some great restaurants in the area and can’t wait to go back!

Slice of heaven

Did not disappoint! Uvita is a beautiful area, with so many things to do! This is a beautiful property with lush surroundings, incredible views, and amazing location!! 15 min from Uvita, great restaurants, grocery shopping, bakeries, cafes…, everything you would need. Daily sightings of monkeys, birds, butterflies, geckos. House is beautifully appointed, and very comfortable, with multiple seating options outside, beautiful pool with a view of the ocean and whales tail! 4wd recommended for the drive in, and steep driveway. Worth the drive!! Property management is very attentive, we had 1 small issue, that was resolved within 30 minutes! Made reservations for a tour for us, and were very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. This was our second visit, and definitely will not be our last!! Thank you yet again Casa Namaste! Already looking forward to returning.

Casa Namaste Retreat

Great relaxing vacation

Great outside paradise that will make your experience complete. Take a day off and just relax here. Everything you need. Chelsea was great both before and after our stay answering any questions we had. Absolutely recommend this home if you are in the area.

Private Paradise

In all my travels this was one of the best experiences renting a house I’ve ever had. Chelsea was on top of everything and went the extra mile in providing info before the trip and was beyond helpful during our stay. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in a private and very comfortable home with incredible views, this is the place.

If there's a perfect VRBO rental out there, it's this one

Casa Namaste exceeded all our expectations. We loved how the outside pool and covered patio were really just an extension of the home--we spent most of our time swimming and enjoying the views and wildlife from that space. The home is well kept and appointed with everything we needed, and Chelsea was a terrific host. She was easy to communicate with and offered us ideas that enriched our time in Costa Rica. It's a big, beautiful world out there, and we're already trying to figure out how to get back to this special home and place.

Absolutely amazing expierence

We had quite possibly the best vacation of our life when we visited Costa Rica. This vacation rental is truly a 5 star retreat. If you value privacy, views, and comfort then this place is a must stay! The property manager, Mercedes, was extremely accommodating and provided us with fantastic suggestions on restaurants, hang out spots, and even set us up with surf lessons. We loved our stay here so much that it has a seriously considering moving to Costa Rica!

Great house, amazing location and views. House was fully equipped with everything you needed. Easy check in and very helpful host that took care of any problem right away. House had minor problems with AC and washing machine but was fixed very quickly. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Thank you for a great experience.

Mountain Paradise

Case Namaste is more beautiful than the pictures. Chelsea, the property manager was extremely helpful and available. We highly recommend getting a massage onsite, it was amazing with the gentle breeze and genuine nature sounds. The house is well equipped and the winding mountain road is well paved.

Amazing Stay in Uvita!

Absolutely beautiful location, with an incredible view! The house has everything you need, kitchen is fully equipped, A/C worked well, pool was the perfect temperature every day, and the outdoor space offered sun and shade at all times of day. The outdoor shower was such a treat! Beds were very comfortable, with great pillows! Wifi worked really well. Road to the house is daunting at first, but gets easier and quicker each time. Trip into Uvita took 15 min. Chelsea was great to communicate with and provided lots of recommendations. This is a property we would most definitely stay at again😊

Amazing views and abundant bird life

Casa Namaste was a perfect place for us to stay. (2 couples ). The house is very modern, clean and well furnished with super comfortable king sized beds. We spent lots of time just sitting out by, and in, the pool with its amazing views over the “whale tail”. We especially enjoyed the abundant bird life: toucans, oropendulas, parrots and hawks to name a few. Writing this review makes me wish I was sitting there right now. Hope we can go back one day.

Fun For Families

Our family of four (7 and 10 year old) enjoyed our stay. Chelsea was very helpful with getting us settled in and schedule a night hike for us just up the road from the house. The view of the valley, ocean, Cano Island, and whale's tale is amazing. My kids loved the pool and wild life. We walked down to the river to cool off one afternoon. While the paved road up to the house is a little long it makes your stay much more private, is a beautiful drive through the jungle, and cooler than being near the beach. This is a special house and location.

Beautiful, realizing, everything you want in a property

Casa Namaste is an absolute dream of a home. It was always the thing we looked forward to coming back to the most after a long day of Costa Rican adventures. The pool overlooks the most beautiful view of the Whales Tail and the jungle with monkeys, toucans, butterflies and geicos!! The most wonderful part, however, was Chelsea. She helped us book reservations and gave us recommendations for local restaurants and attractions even after we already left. There was fresh fruit and wine waiting for us when we arrived! Thank you so much for the memories!

Casa Namaste

Truly a beautiful location and a beautiful home. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is a definite must. We loved the tranquility of the location and the ability to hear and see wildlife. The house is small, but with the outdoor living space we didn't feel cramped at all. Mercedes was very helpful in helping us plan activities in the area. We enjoy cooking and Casa Namaste had all the tools we needed including a barbecue. The one concern we had was that the Wifi was not good and we had to make the trip to town in order to do some necessary work. Overall, it was a wonderful venue and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful View & Great Host

The view is amazing. We have toucans visiting daily to the trees right in front of the pool. Driving up required 4X4 only for last 5 mins of the trip. Pretty easy to get to. What we love the most is how responsive & warm the host, Chelsea. She lives next door and if you need anything, she is always helping out - above & beyond. To give examples: she helped me setup at home massages, she even lend me her lavender oil when I said I got mosquitos bites. Never have such a warm & welcoming host ever. Would love to stay there again next time when we visit Costa Rica.

PERECT place

We stayed nearly three weeks in Costa Rica and rented 3 different homes. This was by the far the best! Fully stocked kitchen. Everything you would need or want! The extra touches like welcome gifts of a bottle of wine and coffee made us feel very welcomed and special! The managers were very nice, acomodating and very quick to respond to emails. We liked this place so much when we checked out early from another place we chose this home to return to and were thrilled it was available on such short notice. The pool was great and outdoor shower a thrill. The river was a great adventure and well worth the rugged trek down to it. Watching monkeys and exotic birds from the pool and patio was a treat! This home made our trip! Paradise!!!

Spectacular location- great stay for two couples

The view from the property is amazing; overlooking forest with distant ocean and whale tail vistas. We were serenaded by forest through the day with notable visits from toucan, aracaris and capuchin monkeys. The private pool was a welcome respite after hot hikes. The recently paved road to the property winds through steep hairpin curves from the highway (typical for Costa Rica). The driveway is also steep but a 2 wheel drive Chery Tiggo worked okay in dry conditions...would not want to try without AWD or 4WD if raining. The eclectic casita is showing some signs of wear and tear over the years and a few minor repairs would be helpful. Also the photos and description could be updated; there is no grill or dishwasher and there are four comfortable outside chairs with two loungers. Would fully recommend and stay again...this location is one of a kind!!!

Family Vacation...Wow!!!

What a beautiful house and location!!! Casa Namaste exceeded our expectations. Here’s the quick rundown: * Secluded jungle mountain location with a view of a jungle valley canopy extending far out to the ocean. * Amazing home that was comfortable and had everything we needed and more. * A great patio and pool that was the stage to a jaw-dropping view. * Kids loved the sweet bananas right from the property. * A group of howler monkeys and chestnut-mandibled toucans, not at a wildlife refuge or eco-tour, but right off the deck of the house! Mercedes made this a vacation we’ll never forget, from scheduling a horseback riding tour and a surf lesson to recommending places to eat. Linn thank you for sharing your wonderful home, and thank you Mercedes and Chuck for making this vacation one of the best we’ve ever had.

BOOK IT!

This house was THE BEST experience I had with VRBO. The property is clean and absolutely beautiful! The property is private and perfect for couples who need some R&R! You will not be disappointed. Especially with the pool and the view. But this wasn’t even the best part. My host, Chelsea was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience during our visit. She told us about a trail by the house that brings you to a river and area to swim. It was gorgeous! The water was so blue. She made us reservations to a farm to table restaurant that was absolutely delicious! She made several suggestions on where to eat and go in addition to her well written welcome letter! She is such a nice person, so staying at her place was an honor and I respected as if it were my own. Thank you so much for making my birthday a beautiful memory! I really hope I can come back again!

Relaxing retreat with a perfect view

We spent 3 days in this lovely house. It was the perfect for our trip. The view was just lovely including the hills, the rain forest and the ocean. Pictures just do not do it justice. We enjoyed the view from patio in the morning while we drank coffee and in the evenings we would enjoy the view again during a dip in the pool. Birds would come and join us on the patio and it was extremely relaxing and peaceful. There was air conditioning in the house, but we really didn't need it that much. We just opened the windows and doors and let the breeze flow through. The kitchen was fully stocked and they had fresh coffee, a pineapple and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got there. We enjoyed the wine the first evening and had the pineapple and coffee for breakfast. Mercedes was just up the road and was so helpful with helping us make tour arrangements and making recommendations for dinner. She is charming and we felt like we were friends when we left. I truly loved this house and will definitely stay if I am in the area again.

San Josecito was an undiscovered gem that is now gaining the recognition it has long deserved. The location is second to none with short drives to the restaurants, shopping, beaches, waterfalls and other attractions. The mountain has a small town feel.

This home sits on over 6 acres and is perched over dramatic ocean and valley views. We have secondary forest running along the west side of the property which regularly brings monkeys and exotic birds to the property. When you aren't enjoying the local wildlife you have dramatic views of the ocean, valley or mountain peak.
