This condo is just a short walk from Leland Snow Play in winter and Lleand Lake in summer, at an elevation of 6300ft. 3 bedroom 2 bath, 3rd bedroom loft, sleeps 9, full kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer, dryer, Big screen cable TV/DVD. Fireplace, wood provided, WiFi, 3 levels , big snow in winter, cool breeze in summer. Beautiful view, wonderful part of the forest, great family fun, winter fun. It doesn't get any better than this. Close to Pinecrest lake and Beardsley Reservoir right across the hwy.

CLEANING:
We have always and will continue to use clorox, lysol cleaners, disinfectant sprays, and laundry sanitizer, vinegar, bleach as appropriate for each surface type. We have always taken great care to protect our guests! You should leave it tidy, rinsed dishes go into dishwasher so there's no ants etc. Cabins blankets and towels stay at the cabin. The crew does the rest.

We have smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguishers.

Leave beds and bedding for the contractor, please no bedding on the floor.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Nice location

Enjoyed our stay in the Pinecrest area. Very comfortable for all of us. Cooled off nicely at night with the windows open and the fan on. We will try to stay here again when we get back to the area.

Family Snow Fun

The rental was perfect! Lots of space and such a beautiful view. Easy to locate and so close to the snow park. There was plenty of towels and bedding necessities. My kids had so much fun! I highly recommend it.

Very nice place

Clean, plenty of amenities and walking distance from the snow park. Downstairs was a bit cool at first but the three area heaters were plenty to supplement the heating. We didnt bring pets so there was plenty of bedding just like the details on the listing suggests. There was even extra TP even tho the listing says bring your own. Definitely going to book again!

Great spot for tubing at Leland Snow Play

This was a great house for 2 families to stay in (4 adults, 4 kids) for Leland Snowplay. Was 5 minute walk away so we could go tubing, come back for lunch at the house, then go back to tubing. Kids had a great time playing in the yard too. House was clean and description is spot on. The host responded to my questions immediately and was super helpful. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking meals for our large group. The downstairs bedrooms were a little cold though - the wall heaters didn’t heat them up very much so we had to use a lot of extra blankets. The rest of the house was super toasty warm though :). Would rent there again!

Nice cabin

The cabin was easy to find, there was a path shoveled for us and the temp in the house was good for our arrival. I had to contact the manager regarding wifi and she responded really fast. The property is very clean, and when they say to being all your own supplies, they really mean it, there are no garbage cans inside, not even in the bathrooms which was weird, but we were able to find a place for our garbage bag that was out of the way. There were plenty of beds and a lot of extra blankets which were very much appreciated…. The kids made a fort with them….. I am definitely going to use this company again.

Most Amazing, well kept, quiet, beautiful Cabin

This was the most amazing place, for us to take our child to the snow for the first time! It was not only amazingly beautiful with an outstanding view, but also quiet, peaceful, and close to all the Things to do in the area. Even the Sledding place with a beautiful lake is a walk away. I felt like I was staying in a winter-land tree house! It had all the amenities one could need, kitchen, wood supply etc.... It fit 7 very comfortably, could probably fit more. The owner was so great and easy to work with! We were very pleased, definitely going back every year if possible. If you're reading this comment to decide. Do it! It will be a decision you're happy to make! Best winter spot ever.

Great size tri-level condo, short walk to Leland Snow Play Area

This tri-level condo was the perfect size for my family, which includes several kids. There are plenty of beds, good size living room, all necessary dishes/equipment in kitchen, wood burning stove and also thermostat controlled heater, wifi and two tv’s with Direct TV. It’s a very short walk to the Leland Snow Play Area-we were able to play for a few hours at the snow park in the morning, come home for lunch, then walk back to the snow park to play for a few more hours in the afternoon. Plus, the backyard is on a little hill with plenty of snow on it, so the kids were also able to play on our sleds in the backyard, as well. There are two back decks from which you can watch your kids in the backyard. The key was easy to locate, and Darlene was quick to reply with any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Overpriced for not including any sheets, blankets or towels!!!!

This property was hard to find, the key was hard to locate and once we were inside we realized that there were no sheets, blankets, towels or other basics that should be included for over the price I paid. The worst VRBO experience I have had. I paid for 2 nights but left after just one night as we had to borrow a blanket from the neighbor just to sleep on the plastic covered bed. The condo two doors down was fully remodeled and also included wifi, this unit does not provide wifi so we could not make calls or check emails. I do not recommend this rental.

Hi, I'm very sorry you feel that way. This condo is lovely and pet friendly, and in the house rules, information given to bring your bedding and in booking details, as well as your welcome and arrival and departure instructions. When you bring pets, you bring your own bedding and towels. This what another guest with a pet reviewed: Nice cabin in high Sierra, right next to Pinecrest lake. Really nice rustic cabin, a lot of character. Very short drive to Pinecrest lake and hikes. We and our dog Daphnia loved breakfast on a sunny deck and long morning walks in the nearby forest. Also great host, we forgot our blankets but she got them to us after we called her and asked her help. Highly recommend! The condo is easy to find if you follow the directions which include the instructions to find the lockbox at the front door. I remind all guests as you can read above many ways, many times. There is a landline phone at the condo with a toll free 888# if you have any questions or you need assistance. We would have been happy to assist you. Being pet friendly means we protect from bedding/towels being ruined by pet stays. Here's some reviews from other guests: Cabin #6 Everything was great. Nothing out of place or too difficult! Great Place

The cabin is great, it was all my family and I were looking for. Very peaceful, and beautiful scenery! There is definitely no signal, but that was great for us, since we were looking for a little distraction from the daily routine. You can take wonderful walks through the neighborhood which is very peaceful. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. We would definitely come back again!

Hi, yes because we have to follow covid rules we let guests know in amenities list, house rules reminders, welcome note and arrival and departure instructions that they must bring their toiletries, food items etc. Most guests have salt and pepper and their own toiletries to bring with. It's also a pet friendly cabin so we provide it comfortably and it looks just like the pictures and video. It is a great place to be in the forest, experience the elevation and beauty of Leland meadows. It's ideal for guests who bring their pets to be so close to a beautiful little lake and meadow. Peaceful getaway

This is our second time renting this beautiful cabin, we stayed for 5 days. It has a great location near Pinecrest lake and several hiking trails. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve all your meals. We specifically enjoyed the outside deck my husband bbq while the kids played board games on the outdoor table. The inside is comfy with plenty of beds, and comfortable couches. There was 7 of us 3 teens, 2 young adults, my husband and I and 2 dogs. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. There is a small lake nearby with equipment, my kids loved the paddle boards and pedal boats. My husband and I sat on the shore read our books while enjoying some drinks and sun. Our dogs loved hiking we took them to trails nearby and around Pinecrest lake that was the longest trail they did. This place is perfect for families who love the outdoors and want a relaxing, peaceful vacation. The host is very helpful and pleasant. The family memories we made are priceless. My kids enjoyed this place so much they want to come back again next year!

Nice Cabin in Strawberry

We had a nice stay at this cabin although based on the pictures I was hoping for a more wooded feel where we could hike and whatnot and there's not much of that around. There is however a very small lake within walking distance that had a clubhouse and paddleboards and everything that our family had a very nice time with. This cabin says pinecrest area but is actually several miles away in strawberry so be sure to read through the descriptions. Something worth mentioning is that the amenities were lacking. We were required to clean the bbq but no grill brush, no sponges, no dish soap. There were also no seasonings or coffee filters or aluminum foil or anything which I know not all cabins have but is nice when they do.

Hi, I'm glad you had a nice time at the cabin. Leland strawberry is the best place in the forest to take off for hikes, biking, river, reservoir, local lake. Its 6500ft elevation. Yes during covid we have to follow the CDC and local rules. We can not provide you with sponges, soaps, food items, etc. That's why we provide you with the information about what to bring in the house rules, rental agreement, amenities list and the arrival and departure instructions so you know what to bring for your stay. This is the Pinecrest area for vrbo. There's also Beardsley reservoir, the entrance is right across the hwy from the Leland entrance. We do provide tuolumne county information and links in our welcome notes as well as a binder with local information for fun and adventure. So guests have all the information they need. It's a peaceful spot of the forest! It was a pleasure to serve you. Thanks Darlene

Family Time

Great weekend with family. Beautiful area and cozy condo made it fun for all. Played games, hiked, fished and played in the snow and water. Kids had a blast!
