About Michael Davis
After hiking the Smokies for many years I discovered the Bryson City / Deep Creek area in 2012 and fell in love with it so much I decided to relocate here. Found my dream home which included a guest house which I have decided to rent out part time. Absolutely love all the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities.
Michael Davis purchased this Barn in 2013
Why Michael Davis chose Bryson City
At 3000 feet elevation this place has beautiful views of the mountains and spectacular sunsets. The central location to rafting, boating, hiking and Bryson City couldn't be better.
What makes this Barn unique
In less than 20 minutes or less you can get to Nantahala National Forest hiking, Fontana Reservoir boating / fishing, trout fishing in numerous creeks, kayaking / rafting at the Nantahala river, Smoky Mountain National Park hiking / tubing at Deep Creek and lots of fun activities and good food / drinks in Bryson City.

Just right, again
Simple, clean, not fancy, and just right for our second visit here. Quiet and lovely location and close to some good hikes. We will return.
What a great little hideaway. Everything about it was incredible. Host was super friendly. We’ll be back.
Lori and I had the best time staying in Michael's place he is a great host and is very attentive to your needs. His dog is great to he comes by and visit with you and just want some attention we love the little cabin in the views in sitting on the swing porch drinking our coffee in the morning. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet in the outdoors it is so close to everything very convenient I will definitely be coming to this location again.
Wonderful stay for the second time....already talking about our next trip!
Highly recommend and will be returning
Amazing location, quiet great mountain views. Property owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Had a great time and will be returning to this cabin in the future.
My husband and I recently stayed for our 30th anniversary. We loved the quiet location and we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Enjoyed meeting Mike and his dog. Would recommend.
There is always something to do! Tsali mountain biking; raft and kayak the Nantahala; tube Deep Creek; ride the Smokey Mountain Railroad in Bryson City; hike in the Smokey Mountain National Park; win big at the Casino in Cherokee; water sports on Lake Fontana; antique in Franklin, Bryson City, Dillsboro; Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and have lunch at the Pisquah Inn; Visit the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood in TN; bike ride in Cades Cove looking for deer, turkey and bear; fly fish/fish the many streams in the area, especially in the Smokey Mountain National Park; and when you are tired and can go no more, there are all types of restaurants in nearby Bryson City.
