We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It is well appointed with all that you need, very private and the host was quick to respond with an answer to my question.
The property was just as pictured. Just beware you are way out in the woods and do have to travel across some unpaved roads. Everything was great inside except the one guest room upstairs. There were several dead bugs on the floor when we checked in and once it got dark, i found out why. The A/C window unit did not seal perfectly against the window and when lights were, mosquitos, lightning bugs and moths came into the room. As i killed them, more came in until i finally just killed the light, left one on it the hallway and went to sleep. Also the bedroon door didnt latch shut and only a few of the outlets in the room worked. But the redt of the house was perfect and the owner was super helpful with a great orientation to the house and the area!!!!
The house is so pretty, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay and overall everything was great. We had a tiny issue right after check in and the owner was very quickly responsive. This house is truly in the middle of nowhere. So quiet and pretty. But just know that there’s no cell service for at least 15 mins before you arrive. A few things to be aware of, there’s a back bedroom that doesn’t have any window coverings. This room has 2 beds and unless you are ok waking up with the sun, this might be a concern. We didn’t personally need this room but unless this is addressed, you might want think about bringing something to cover them as it’s way too bright. Lastly, while the beds are comfortable, they are literally the creakiest beds we have ever slept on and any slight movement can be heard throughout the house. The people downstairs could even hear the people upstairs moving on the bed! These things wouldn’t prevent us from staying here again as it really was a nice house with everything you could need!
