Everything was great! The hot tub was very enjoyable and the beds very comfy. We even played a little pool and darts. Very nice place and we hope to be back for a third time.
The Hosts had supplied everything you could want in the kitchen and the living room was comfortable. The hot tub is new and GREAT! So relaxing to walk in the neighborhood and see the deer. What a calm and quiet place. It was lovely.
Hot tub was very clean and enjoyable. A little more lighting on the steps of the hot tub deck would be great. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was amazing. What a wonderful neighborhood to walk our pup! Thank you!
This Alderbrook is exactly as described in the listing. The home is very clean, has quality finishes, the furniture and beds are in very good condition. We will not hesitate to book here again.
A wonderful location right on the golf course with hot tub, game room, and nicely appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and linens were high quality.
Overall it is a nice property- we kind of expected more of a golf course view. Master bed was not comfortable. Outdoor property had a lot of debris - not conducive to a relaxing environment or use of hot tub. Owners were very responsive to inquiries and needs.
We planned a girls getaway to this home and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and the house itself was well-equipped. We brought food, coffee, and coffee filters and were set. The hosts were hospitable with the small touches and very responsive to questions. Great stay.
The rental took care of our needs/wants when we were not at Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman enjoying water activities. Ping pong table, pool table and hot tub kept everyone entertained. Spacious deck for hanging out and grilling. Plenty of towels, linens and the murphy bed came in handy for 6 people.
The deck was adjacent to the golf course tee off area and players congregated there daily so peace and quiet in mornings included a lot of balls being hit and chitter chatter.
It worked out for our get together, thank you so much.
Great location for a combination of privacy and people watching. The home is situated alone on a corner and circled by the golf cart path. Large windows and enclosed deck make it easy to watch golfers and also easy to hide away in the hot tub tucked around the side.
Kitchen had good quality equipment and utensils but did not supply basic ingredients (paper towels, coffee / filters, oil, sugar, flour).
Bedrooms, bath and game room were all well sized and set up.
The neighborhood had several ways to walk our dogs and we found some neat nature trails.

Thank you for your feedback.
We are glad you found the home comfortable.
We are concerned that you said we didn’t supply basics. We always have a roll of paper towels and we supply two types of coffee and a filter for your first day as well as several packets of sugar and sweetener, and creamers also to get you through that first morning as you are figuring out what you want/need for your stay.
Please join us again if you are looking to stay in this neck of the woods in the future.
Cheers!
The main and second floors of the home were beautifully renovated and well-appointed. The location is ideal—situated right on the golf course next to a tee box, with lovely views. The hot tub was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully positioned for privacy. The basement game room was a great bonus, featuring pool, darts, ping pong, a large-screen TV, and convenient walk-out access. However, one significant issue impacted our overall experience: a persistent mold and mildew smell in the basement. While there was an air purifier and dehumidifier in place, they offered only minimal relief. Unfortunately, because the washer and dryer are located in the basement, all of our freshly laundered clothes absorbed the musty odor—so much so that they were unwearable and even caused the rest of the items in our luggage to smell during our flight home. Everything had to be rewashed upon return. This home has the potential to be a real gem if the basement moisture issue can be fully resolved. The owners were very kind and accommodating, and we would absolutely consider staying again—provided that problem is addressed.
The location is amazing. It's super pretty and you feel very safe in this golf course community. The hosts added a lot of little things that are super nice. We loved playing pool and ping pong and they even added a bottle of wine. There is a strong musty smell in the basement and a small amount of mold growing on the concrete blocks. I mentioned this to the host but they didn't respond to that. I also mentioned that the hot tub was cloudy and they told us it was probably too much chlorine and once we removed it that cleared right up and was great. After that, I thanked the host and also thanked them when they left but they never responded to either message. Overall I really liked the place, but wouldn't stay there again because of the musky basement smell. I might be more sensitive to that than most people. The upstairs was totally fine and very clean.
Beautiful home, the kitchen is amazing! Great hot tub, and outdoor seating area. Beds are comfy! Plenty of linens.A pipe burst from the main floor bathroom flooding a large area of the basement floor. The owner didn’t come to fix the burst pipe, leaking ceiling or basement floor. They told us that they would fix it after we left. We were stuck with 1 bathroom and no use of the basement amenities.Perhaps the homeowner was just trying to be respectful of our wedding and time, however they should have proactively had a plumber out immediately to fix the pipe so we could use the main floor bathroom at a minimum or offer a partial refund.Unfortunately the owners did not wet-vac and place a fan on the carpet that was water logged. We were stuck using one bathroom, which is definitely not conducive for four adults who are bride, groom, parents of the bride (also the wedding coordinator and florist). We made it work, it was just more difficult with one working bathroom with 4 adults getting wedding ready at the same time.We missed out on planned basement photos as well, they would have been fun and adorable. Be prepared to be awakened early by golfers. The house is right on a golf course hole and bathrooms. They are not quiet. The owners were very communicative. Unfortunately, they did not offer a partial refund, as it would have been the right thing to do. This was disappointing. We really wanted to love our stay.
The house was perfect for my family visiting from Germany. They had plenty of room, loved the game room downstairs, enjoyed the hot tub, and all other amenities. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped. Check-in process was easy and instructions were complete and easy to follow.

We grew up in Kitsap County and moved away for many years. We've purchased and remodeled this home in an effort to slowly return to our roots.
Why they chose this property
We love the very slow pace of Alderbrook. It is so quiet, even though the house is on the course. We love sitting on the deck watching the golfers tee-off right next to us.
