About this property

Lakeside, Cozy Tiny Home - Quaint and Fully Equipped

Welcome to Shelton!

We love living here because it feels like the best of the Pacific Northwest without the crowds. If you're looking for a place to relax, explore, and enjoy nature, you've found it.

Shelton is surrounded by beautiful forests, lakes, mountains, and waterways. We're just minutes from Hood Canal, where you can kayak, fish, crab, paddleboard, or simply enjoy the view. If you're a seafood lover, you're in the right place—this area is known for some of the best oysters in Washington.

One of our favorite day trips is Lake Cushman, about 35 minutes away. The water is stunning, and it's a great spot for swimming, boating, hiking, and picnics. The Staircase entrance to Olympic National Park is also nearby, making Shelton a great home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

If you're looking for a little excitement, Ridge Motorsports Park is right here in Shelton and attracts visitors from all over the Northwest. There's also skydiving nearby if you're feeling adventurous!

The town itself has a relaxed, small-town feel with local restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and friendly people. It's the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and escape the busy pace of everyday life.

We're about 30 minutes from Olympia, an hour from Tacoma, and around 90 minutes from Seattle. Ocean beaches on the Washington coast make a great day trip and are about two hours away.

Whether you're here to hike, fish, race, explore the Olympic Mountains, enjoy the water, or simply unwind, Shelton is a wonderful place to experience the beauty of Washington.

We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy calling this area home!

Hi! We're local to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and absolutely love calling this area home. When we're not working, you'll usually find us boating, hiking mountain trails, exploring small towns, or finding an unusual location to explore. We enjoy adventure—so love that this little town offers some adrenaline-filled experiences for our guests!

One of the things that make this area unique is that living here can feel like a vacation with all the travel options so close by. Whether we're looking for excitement or just a quiet place to relax, it's available.

That's partly why we became hosts. We wanted to create a cozy getaway where others can unplug, slow down, and experience the beauty we get to enjoy every day. Whether you're coming to paddle on the lake, hike through the forests, explore nearby beaches, shop local boutiques, or simply relax with a cup of coffee, we hope you leave feeling refreshed and already planning your next visit.

What makes this property unique

We wanted this tiny home to be the kind of place we'd love to stay ourselves—simple, cozy, comfortable, and just the right size to help you slow down.

Built in 2026, everything is fresh, clean, and thoughtfully put together. You'll have a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable spaces to relax, Wi-Fi, and all the little conveniences that make a vacation easy.

One of our favorite parts is that you can walk down to the lake whenever you want. Grab one of the complimentary kayaks, take a swim on a warm afternoon, or enjoy a quiet morning by the water with your coffee. After a day of exploring, come back, kick your feet up in the outdoor seating area, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We also love that you don't have to choose between adventure and relaxation here. Spend the day hiking, visiting nearby beaches, shopping in local towns, or exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Or don't make any plans at all—that's perfectly okay too.

Our hope is that you'll leave feeling like you found one of those special little places you'll want to come back to again and again.
