Lake Michigamme Cabin, Your Home Away from Home!

For the months of July and August, rentals will have a minimum night stay of 6 nights Check-in will be Sunday after 3pm EST and check-out will be Saturday 11am EST.

Question: Can I rent the cabin for only 3 nights?
Answer: Yes, but you will pay the 6 night rental fee.


Need to get away? Does the draw of a quiet getaway on waters edge call you? Or, are you looking for a place to stay for the opening of Walleye season? Our cozy Michigamme cabin is the place for you. With three bedrooms, a sofa bed, and an enclosed porch with additional sleeping for that someone looking for added adventure, all your favorite people can be comfortably under one roof. The cabin has private access to the lake and a dock for which you can tie your watercraft after a fun day on the lake. Or, if you wish, you need never leave land and read a book of your choice under the shade of one of the many trees on the property. This location is great for those wanting to use it a a base for hunting the vast areas around, as well, a charming place for friends and family to gather for much needed quality time.

We came up to fish a few of the local lakes and Mark's property proved a pristine up-north feel and all the amenities a group of veterans could ask for. Incredible lake access, convenience to local bait, restaurants, and gas. For anyone with a boat who's wanting to chase abundant smallmouth and crappie and the occasional walleye with incredible blue and gold coloration, be sure to book this residence, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful location , scenery in the area was breathtaking. The location was perfect on the water. House accommodation was excellent for our family of 9 plenty of bedding, towels and any thing that was needed for a week away with the family . Dishes laundry beds chairs games and other supplies needed were plan for and accessible.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for! All the necessities to be comfortable and just enough to keep us busy on gloomy days. We were all able to unplug and unwind which was our goal. The game room was a huge hit!

Cute cabin on Lake Michigamme. This was the perfect cabin to come back to after doing day adventures and visiting the different towns around in the area. The view from the cabin looking across the lake was great!

Great cabin for a UP get away

Great property, clean and well equipped. Beautiful waterfront views of lake Michigamme. Nice touch of (gas) wood burner stove to take off the chill. Really nice home away from home!

Home away from hime

Fantastic stay! We felt so much at home because it had everything you needed! It was also my husband’s parents place for many years so it WAS.home to us. The grandkids are already asking to come back next year. The youngest fascinated by the “fish on the wall” that his great grandpa had catch years ago. We will need to let him try to catch his own next year. Mark was great to work with and answered questions quickly. The place is well taken care of, which warms our hearts. If you want to get away and enjoy a quiet life on the lake, book this place. We love it!!! Campfires were lots of fun.
This was a newer addition for us to have this campfire area. Not there when our kids grew up.
Well equipped for cooking out, charcoal or gas grills.

Love this rental!!

This was our fourth year staying at this rental. That should tell you how much we love it. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. If you are a nature lover this is the place for you.
