Neat place with snowmobile trail access right across the lake, just watch for open water in the far east side. Hot tub worked great. Comfy couches and beds. Owners definitely care about the place.
Amazing stay. The host was very helpful and flexible. Hot tub after a long day snowmobiling was incredible. The trail is right outside the neighborhood. Also the wood stove in the garage made it nice to thaw out our gear.
Me and my wife had the best time staying at this home in the Upper Peninsula. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Definitely would stay at this home again
Great spot with a beautiful lake. Our family stayed here for our symmer vacation. Close enough to town to have plenty to do but secluded enough for days at hone.
Beautiful property, clean and comfy cabin, slept 3 different parties very comfortably. Our dogs loved it too. Easy check in/out process and communication very good from owner
My wife and I had a fantastic time at this location! The surrounding area was gorgeous and we loved being able to wake up so close to the lake! Every room felt alive in a different way and we could see the care that went into keeping the place well maintained. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!
We were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Right on the lake, was very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the view. Had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. If we ever come again will definitely stay here!
We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! We brought the kids out on the lake with sleds and four-wheelers and made some great family memories. The hosts even had a Christmas tree set up for us, which we were so thankful for—we had planned to bring one but ran out of room.It was the perfect meeting spot, about six hours for us coming from Minnesota and six hours for our other family coming from Michigan. The sauna and hot tub were an added bonus, especially after being outside. The garage was also a huge plus for drying wet clothes and giving the adults a place to relax while the little ones were sleeping. Highly recommend!
Besides the weather not cooperating we had a fabulous time. Responsive host, clean home, comfortable beds. Fabulous for dogs that love to swim, people who like fishing, or just people who want to relax in a Jacuzzi or by the lake without the hustle or the city noise and light pollution. Will visit again for sure!
Super cute little lakefront property! Conveniently located a short drive from Marquette. We caught fish off the dock and went for a swim in the lake to cool off after a session in the hot tub. All the amenities we needed were there, a true little gem.
This quaint house was the perfect space for three adults and two dogs. We had ample room inside and out to enjoy a few days of summer in the UP. Truly got to relax away from the busy day-to-day life at home and feel comfortably off the grid. We could not have asked for better weather to enjoy the lake views, the hottub, and the kayaks!
Property was lovely, house was clean, beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed there, the location was good for just exploring the area and it was so peaceful on the lake. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Host Taylor was prompt to answer questions and her recommendations were spot on. So relaxing!
The cozy home was absolutely perfect for us. Lots of space to move around and everyone is comfortable. Coffee every morning was made better in the hot tub. I appreciated how many towels were available. After riding the trails all day, it was so nice to have a big laundry room to wash everything. Definitely would stay in this gem again!
Really loved the tranquil setting on this beautiful lake. The house has wonderful views of the lake we enjoyed the hot tub. The house is very cozy and decorated very cute. We would have enjoyed a longer stay.Wwere moving our student out of

Thank you for your kind review! We would love for you to stay again :)
My wife and I were traveling to NMU to drop off our daughter and we decided to extend our stay at this property for a couple days. The house was clean and had a great view of the lake. We utilized the kayaks to do some fishing and caught some nice size bass. Host Taylor was easy to deal with and accommodating.
Beautiful property and house on Boston lake, a gorgeous fishing lake, my husband caught a ton of pike out of there! The hot tub was great for after a day out exploring. Close to many parks and hiking spots. The house had everything you may need, including a Crock-Pot which came in handy. Taylor was on the ball with any questions we asked. The house was scent allergen friendly with free and clear laundry soap, which I appreciated as I'm chronically ill and very sensitive to some scents. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend for your next vacation!
The check in process was simple. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. The three bedrooms and large living room gave our family of six enough space to move around and not feel cramped. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Our kids loved kayaking around Boston Lake and fishing off the dock and around the lake. The hot tub was a nice perk. The neighborhood was quiet. This is one of the better VRBOs we've stayed in. We would definitely come back.
This super clean, well-stocked cottage is like a hug from your favorite grandma. We didn't run out of anything! Beautiful, quiet location on the shore of a small lake just west of Ishpeming. With this central location, you can easily explore in any direction - Copper Harbor, Ironwood, Menominee, Pictured Rocks, Brockway Mountain - we saw it all within a day's drive. Kayaks and paddleboards were provided, which was a great surprise! The trees provide natural cover from the July sun, generally keeping the house cool most days and nights. However, there is also a window-unit air conditioner in one of the bedrooms that, with the assistance of the fans provided, easily cools the whole house if necessary. Communication with the hosts is nearly real-time, they are so fast to respond. The yard is bordered by trees, and the house is back from the road, so it would be great for kids to run around in. Also, there is a small park with climbing toys just past the next-door neighbor. Very convenient. We had a great time - highly recommend!

Judith, thank you for your kind review of our home. Both my husband and I are so grateful that you enjoyed your time here! You were a wonderful guest and we hope you come back to visit again :)
My name is Taylor and my husbands name is Eli. We bought this home 4 years ago as our first home and have felt absolutely blessed to be living here. We have always loved the quiet and ever changing scenery of the lake as well as the nature we were able to witness daily! We decided it was time to move into something a little bigger to be able to start a family of our own but we couldn’t let go of this home we love so much. So we decided to take the chance of VRBOing our beloved lakeside cabin. We know the risk; some people may not appreciate it in the same way that we do, but our hope is that those special folk will love it just the same and it will be a sweet reminder to us that this was the right choice. So with grateful hearts we open our home to you; so that you make some of the same memories we have. Enjoy.
Why they chose this property
The privacy #1! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful landscape, lots of nature and a very kind neighbor
What makes this property unique
We are just far enough away from town to have the true UP experience but close enough to make it to all of the wonderful things the UP has to offer. 5 minutes off hwy 41 and 30 from Marquette. The house is on a dead end road so walking dogs without the fear of traffic is so nice. The big yard is fun for kids and dogs to play around safely.
