The property was clean and comfortable, with tvs in each bedroom. The numbers on the house were a little hard to read from the street, so any food or other deliveries may not find the house immediately. David was very pleasant responsive to all questions and messages we sent. Will stay again!

Overall, great place to stay. Convenient to the Grapevine downtown, Gaylord Resort, shopping and airport. House was very comfortable. Only exception was that you could not control the AC below 70 but every room had a ceiling fan. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Very comfortable and reasonably priced!

We had a very nice stay at David's house in Grapevine. We were in town visiting some of the local attractions and this house could not be more convenient to the downtown area. We will most definitely look to book this home again in the future. Thanks, David!

Ladies Work Trip

This is a great place to stay! It’s close to a lot of wonderful places in Grapevine. We had a dental conference at the Gaylord which was less than 10minutes down the street. David the owner responded fast and was easy to contact. The house was great for 4 adult women. The bathrooms do not have a lot of counter space. Cleanliness was good except for a couple of dust bunnies and cob webs on the light fixtures. We are dental hygienists and pay attention to details. The backyard and porch were so nice and big! We played some of the games provided and that was fun as well. The living room was great and we enjoyed hanging out in the house. We would definitely stay there again!!!

This is our first negative review. We left this property 3 nights early and relocated due to a strong odor in the home. The smell was deeply embedded - not a minor housekeeping issue. Based on our 30 years of experience owning many rental properties, this was not something that could realistically be corrected during a short stay.While odors can’t be captured in photos, we found visible pet hair along kitchen baseboards and noted plug-in air fresheners had been placed in the house (see pic examples). We encountered numerous live insects during the stay, including a dead cockroach in the kitchen upon arrival. We had to contact the owner the first night because the air was not cooling properly. We had to keep the thermostat at 68 afterwards to feel cool. But it was a wet cool. The AC did not seem to be pulling humidity out.The owner disagreed with us on the house issues. Said he and others inspected after we left. He offered a limited goodwill adjustment but no meaningful accommodation for the 3 unused nights we forfeited.Maybe this was an anomaly. But we would not stay at this property again.

The location is excellent. The house was ok. It was a little disturbing that none of the interior doors would shut all the way. Even the bathroom doors. The bathtub plug didn’t work so that wasn’t available for use. It was very good that there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The living room and kitchen were very nice.

We have built dozens of homes, and renovated many dozens more, including this property. In addition to our Grapevine Bungalow, we have 10 additional properties in the stockyards section of Fort Worth. We are always available and within reach, and in fact, I live 20 minutes nearby. So we are very responsive to our guests needs!

Why they chose this property

We are uniquely and conveniently located very close to DFW airport, and a half mile stroll down to the historic N. Main St., District of Grapevine, we’re all elite, cool wineries, restaurants and entertainment venues are. We are also a three minute drive from Gaylord Texan, and great Wolf Lodge and hotel complexes. As well as the waterpark. So everything is a quick shot from our location !
