Our stay here was good. The location is perfect. We were able to go to all the places we wanted to see easily. We loved the view and the beach. Truly beautiful. Chad was quick to reply to questions when we were there. We did have some initial cleaning we had to do upon arrival. And the garage was not working but we were ok not using it for our stay. I would say it is a well loved home and a bit (just a bit) on the rustic side but that was not an issue for us. It truly was a wonderful vacation and we would look to stay here again in the future.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this wonderful beach house. We enjoyed the open layout, proximity to sights, fire pit, and of course the beach! Everything was as expected and as advertised. Highly recommend!

The home was very unclean. Multiple beds were dirty when we got there - sand was on the sheets. The dishes all had a very thick film on them from hard water and needed to be prewashed before use. The carpet had not been vacuumed - there were large bugs found squished into the carpet and my toddler was found eating cereal from under the couch when we had no cereal in the house during our stay. The cleaning fee was 200 and we had to clean just to use basic things in the home. While the stairs from the main level to the basement had a baby gate, there was no baby gate from the loft down to the main level and a toddler fell down the stairs during our stay, so bring an extra baby gate if you have kids! The listing also notes Internet as an amenity but there is no wifi available and very few cable channels, so also plan on that if bringing children. We also could not cook in the oven. When we preheated it, it started smoking and we realized there was some kind of liquid inside burning on the bottom and were uncomfortable cooking anything inside.

The place was very nice and just a short walk to the beach! It does need some improvement as far as the dishes (there weren't many pots or pans) and the microwave wasn't working well. Overall communication with the host was great. Although I don't think it's very clear that there is either no AC or it just doesn't work. Also, there was no propane for the gas grill. We would stay here again though, just needs a little update!

We had a lovely time at this house. Really enjoyed the beach for the kids! We all had plenty of space for sleeping and the location is awesome. We appreciated the wide array of fans in the closets to help keep it cool.

This property is special because it provides a place to get away from it all and relax. It has stunning Lake Michigan views with a secluded "Up North" feeling. St. Ignace is 10 minutes away that provides grocery stores, gas stations, lakefront boardwalk, restaurants, and other amenities to make your "get away vacation" a memorable one. We feel that this location is perfect when planning that U.P. vacation to places like Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, Soo Locks, and many more.
