IT PROVIDES SOME OF THE BEST VALUE ON THE ISLAND AS IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE BEACH ACCESS ON 8TH STREET. YOU CAN SWIM IN THE GULF AND ENJOY THE PRISTINE SAND OF ST GEORGE OR SWIM IN THE POOL, IT HAS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. THE COTTAGES ARE ABOUT A 15 MINUTE WALK TO THE CENTER OF THE ISLAND WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY RESTAURANTS, BARS, SHOPPING, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN FIND. Excellent Location

We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Air conditioning was cold, beds comfy and plenty of hot water. The pool was clean and refreshing. Would stay here again.

Great relaxing getaway for my husband and 2 kiddos. Easy access to the beach and pool was perfect for what we wanted. Beach bum cottage had everything we needed, clean, and great location. We rented a golf cart from the property manager, and that was a fun added bonus to our stay on the island. We will be back!

Perfect family getaway

I hesitate to write an awesome review, ONLY because I don’t want someone to take my dates!! This location was great, everything was clean and comfortable. Check in/out was incredibly easy. Can’t wait to go back!!

Retreat cottage

Beautiful location steps from the beach for watching the sunrises and sunsets. Pool was clean and well maintained for afternoon swims to cool off. PM was responsive and kind. A wonderfully relaxing visit!

Wonderful little bungalow-

This small bungalow is wonderful for a couple. The location to the beach is terrific-just across the street. The property manager, Laura, is terrific! She responded to all of our requests very quickly and was able to bring us beach towels and chairs that were not provided in the unit.

a peaceful, beautiful island

SGI has long been a favorite of ours. Laid back and beautiful. Beach bum was well located, and well maintained. Furniture and beds not ideal for long term stays.

Beach Bum Cottage A+

Property was clean and great location. Excellent communication with the owner and property manager. The perfect place for our stay and will definitely book again. The only negative, if any, is that there was no TV in the bedrooms. Thanks!

Great location

Was nice having the beach right across the street. Just pick up your beach chair and go. The apartment was very clean and the linens on the bed, fresh and crisp. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our fresh seafood. The pool was an added bonus. Was nice to take a dip in after our morning walks.

A good property manager makes all the difference

Property as advertised. Clean & comfortable. Very easy walk to beach. Interior, exterior and grounds nicely done and comfortable. The local PM (Laura) was very helpful and responsive. We will book again next year.

October vacation

Property is in a great location. Easy access to the beach and fairly quiet! Price was on point. NO stairs is a big plus. The pool needs some attention but nice to have at the end of the day on the beach. Laura the Property manager took good care of us and our needs. We would definitely stay thete again

We came down for a short but pleasant getaway trip. The setup is very nice, as one unit is private enough for a couple, but the complex is perfect for a family trip, as we met a family staying in the other three units. The facilities are in great shape, and beach access is close and easy to use. The host was detailed and fast to address any questions we had. We will definitely return

This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all.

SEA FOOD FESTIVAL

THIS PROPERTY IS WONDERFUL. WE WILL RENT IT AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I WOULD ONLY SUGGEST UPDATING THE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. THE COUCH AND CHAIR WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MAYBE FIX A FEW STOVE EYES. BUT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT
