Welcome to Sunny Shores, a delightful waterfront retreat located in the picturesque Curtis area on South Manistique Lake, just 35-40 miles from Grand Marais. This cozy vacation rental sleeps six guests in three comfortable bedrooms, each offering beautiful lakeshore views.

​The master suite features a king-size bed, dresser, large closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a garden tub, dual sinks, and a walk-in shower. The two additional bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, dresser, and closet. The second bathroom includes a shower/tub combo and is conveniently located next to the mudroom, which has a washer, dryer, and utility sink.

​The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a K-cup with an automatic brew coffee maker, ensuring you have everything you need for your stay. Just off the kitchen, the screened-in patio with a gas grill is perfect for outdoor dining. We arrived to find the house in perfect shape for us to move into for the long weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with all the plates and utensils needed for all the meals. The house is very comfortable The overall house and location to both the lake and Curtis is excellent. I highly recommend this house if you want to be on South Manistique Lake.

Everything was wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was having to transport my trash somewhere else. There were 2 large bags in the outside bin already. I took them with me to drop off because I didn't want you to think it was us

Excellent property owner

We had a little snafu with the property we were supposed to stay in. Well before we got there, the onwer got into contact with us, explained the situation, and offered a replacement property, a bigger house than we had booked. A few miles from where we had planned, but not enough to matter and more than made up by the replacement house. Very nice house ,wifi is a bit slow (its the UP, it's common), well stocked. Excellent owner, great communication. Would definitely rent from her again.

Good last minute booking

This was a great last minute booking for us when we found Houghton did not have snow less than a week before our trip. We quick booked this knowing we would have to trailer our snowmobiles north and we were ok with it. There was a good bar nearby. The only slight issue is communication when we were not getting a response through the app. I finally found a number on an email and was able to communicate that was. Even with that it was a great extended weekend!
