Fantastic location, responsive host and a wonderful few days. Even on the rainy days, there was plenty to do. Kitchen is well-provisioned and the rooftop deck was great for sunsets!

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 babies- (2 months and 15 months). The house is very well stocked and was very clean upon arrival. It is very close to beach and super convenient to everything else. Kitchen has anything you would need. 2 bedrooms had walk in closets that became makeshift baby rooms. Travel crib and Snoo fit perfectly. This set up proved to be a hit for the young families. Multiple porches gave groups areas to find some quiet time. Baby gate was much needed- thank you to the reviewer who recommended it! Definitely would recommend this house!

Great house, great location

This property fulfilled all our needs, lots of space, and great outdoor areas. The widow's walk was awesome! The house was spotless upon our arrival. The location couldn't have been much better, our family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the house. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet rental close to the beach.

One of the best places to vacation with family/friends

The house was just right for me and my family. It had enough bedrooms, bathrooms, living space, kitchen area. Decks were spacious whether you like the sun or shade. Neighbors were friendly. House is located 1 block from the beach. Beach was clean and well patroled by lifeguards. There was enough open beach sand to play bocce, can jam, wiffle ball, volleyball. The house has the best location to visit the water park, kayaks, shopping, the boardwalk at Rehoboth, golf and some great restaurants. We had a great time.

Fabulous week!

We loved this house! It was spacious and comfortable. At one point during the week we had 13 people there and there was still room to move around. We particularly liked the screened in porch with the picnic tables end to end. We ate dinner as a full group every night and there was plenty of room. The decks were fabulous and I was able to get some great sunrise pictures from the rooftop deck. The proximity to the beach was even closer than we thought from google maps, so it made it very easy to go back and forth during the day. The code door entry was very convenient and we really liked being able to go straight to the house without having to go to a rental office. The only minor issue was that the futon on the lower lever was broken when we got there, however, no one slept there so it really didn’t affect us. All in all it was the best beach rental we’ve ever had and we would definitely come back to this house.

My family and I just ended a week long family reunion vacation at South Bethany Beach. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the house. It was clean, spacious and bright. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and baking dishes, utensils, pots and pans, serving dishes, etc.... There were 6 adults and 3 littles and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together and space to enjoy alone time as well. The location is convenient for access to the beach with just a block or two to walk. There was plenty of on site parking The listing does mention that you must supply all bed linens, towels and pillows. We did rent from a rental company that was recommended but when we arrived, there were more than enough bed pillows and comforters on all the beds. Downside - take a gate for the stairs if you have crawlers or toddlers. It would have been helpful to have had a high chair and or booster seat on site. We did supply our own I would recommend this house to anyone.

Another fantastic week in this house! Very clean, close to beach and has everything you need in a beach house. Widows walk with chairs, swing on outside deck, great parking, outdoor shower, open concept great room and more! We plan on renting again next year! Wonderful house!!

South Bethany is great location for family vacay

We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 7, 5, 2 and 1. The house was located just a 2 min. walk to the beach which allowed people to go back and forth easily for lunch, naps etc. Very convenient to anywhere you want to drive to in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

Summer stay at # 6, South Eighth Street, South Bethany Beach, Delaware

My family (wife, daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids) spent a week at the rental house described. Three stories, four bedrooms, three full baths, one half-bath. Outside deck on second floor, outside deck on third floor, rooftop deck. All the amenities were available and in fine working order. Good location, a five minutes (or less) walk to a less crowded beach. Easy biking into Bethany Beach itself (bike rentals abound). Owner/manager was accessible, attentive, responsive. All around a good time. Highly recommended.

7 Days of Fun in the Sun

Our time in South Bethany Beach was spectacular. Our beach rental allowed for sunlight to pour in the common areas which enabled us to feel like we were outside all day long. Not to be missed was the rooftop sitting area with extraordinary views over the bay and ocean. We had an incredible firework show on July 4th from the convenience of our home! No driving, no crowds and the fireworks were viewed from multiple sites throughout Bethany from our perch on the crows nest. Beach walk was simple, and our beach uncrowded. The neighborhood was family friendly and the convenience of a walkable gourmet market added to its convenient location. We highly recommend Catch 54 restaurant in Fenwick Island, Shark Cove Marina for a Pontoon boat cruise and Steamers Seafood Market for fresh oysters. Don't forget to bring your beach chairs, umbrellas and games!

Nice place; could use a little upkeep

There was a lot we liked about this property. Great location, spacious layout, and plenty of space indoor and outdoor to retreat to. Overall, it's in good condition but there are signs of expected wear and tear within the home, kitchen cabinets, and some appliances. Unfortunately we encountered some untimely issues during our stay. We immediately contacted the property manager who was prompt and responsive to our calls and emails. So, our advice would be, if something is not as you expect, give him a call. He will take care of it for you. We also suggest taking a drying rack (or two!). There are not enough towel racks/ hooks and only a small wash line for wet suits and towels and bath towels. We do plan to return to this property next year!
